PaxLair, Chesapeake (PaxLair Times) – June 8, 2015 – by Ashlynn – Voting is now underway across Britannia for the 2015 summer governor elections. I would like to report that it is a closely fought race with all candidates fighting tooth and nail to retain their positions, or seize office from the incumbents. It would be most delightful to be able to write about the scandalous levels to which the candidates are willing to go in their election campaigns.
Unfortunately the incumbents are the only candidates on the ballot and none have any competition this season. With nominations for new candidates no longer being accepted there is nothing else to report and the results are a foregone conclusion. So here is a list of our city governors for the next six months:
- Britain: Murdock Redbone (incumbent)
- Jhelom: Scabby (incumbent)
- Minoc: Victor II (incumbent)
- Moonglow: Lauren (incumbent)
- New Magincia: Gareth (incumbent)
- Skara Brae: Tina (incumbent)
- Trinsic: Phoenix (incumbent)
- Vesper: Ivy (incumbent)
- Yew: Tehan (incumbent)
As always Cove, Papua, and Delucia are not represented at the King’s table although I have been asked by the King to draft a proposal to remedy the situation somewhat. So perhaps we will finally see some progress on this front.
