PAXOKU, HOMARE-JIMA - May 1, 2007

Hail, I am Merik of the Oku News Network. This is your PaxOku War news story update.

This afternoon the SHOT guild invaded the island of Homare-Jima. With Gareth not having a military to command quickly packed his personal items in the Emperors mansion and fled before the SHOT guild arrived.

The challenge was made and the SHOT guild took over as the new army of Homare-Jima island. The New Emperor is Zerk of the SHOT guild.

but, the SHOT military did not stop at taking over the mansion. They set their cannons towards PaxOku City. The PaxOku Blue Guard responded with the small task force it had to defend. Unfortunately it was not enough. The Blue Guard was taken down in the first few minutes of the invasion.

With the city left Defenseless the SHOT guild occupies a little over one-fourth of the City. Government officials of PaxOku are being notified at this time of what has transpired. From what we are told the leaders of PaxOku city do not plan to abandon the city in its time of need.

The SHOT occupied area is from the UTB stables down towards the Homare-Jima moongate. The Chesapeake School of Magic is now the front line defense of PaxOku City.

Deputy Mayor Gareth has already dispatched a diplomatic team to the SHE guild. They are due to arrive at the Noble guild SHE within a few days. Until then no diplomatic talks are underway. It is his hope that talking to the so called "Mother guild" will help stop the attacks on PaxOku City.

He has also dispatched a diplomatic team to the Noble UTB guild in hopes of some re-enforcements from the guild. It is unknown if the SHOT guild occupying the UTB stable house will help PaxOku get the support it needs from the guild.

Freedom fighters have already come to PaxOku during the fights. Roland Martin and Kerrs Holly came to save the day but, were over whelmed by the numbers of the SHOT guild. Again they came as freedom fighters and not as a representative of any guild or town.

PaxOku Blue Guard is also planning to Hire Mercs. A larger force will be needed to take back the South-West part of PaxOku City. They are also looking for freedom fighters that wish to join them in their cause and time of need.

For now the explosions and cry of death have gone silent of the once lovely looking City of PaxOku. Only morning will let us see.
