PAXOKU, TOKUNO - August 20, 2006

Tonight was the first town meeting in PaxOku under the new Viceroy, Visago.  The meeting was held at the PaxOku Town Hall and Post Office building.  Viceroy Visago announced that this meeting was to let everyone get acquainted with each other, although some issues arose that required decisions to be made.

Viceroy Visago announced that he is working with Gareth to organize some positions within the town.  News should be available on that within the next few weeks.

Gizmo, of the [DDU] guild, was present to ask that his guild be allowed to ally with PaxOku city.  Gizmo explained that his guild was formerly fwd, until their guildmaster became absent.  That's when many of them decided to venture out on their own under the new guild name of:  [DDU]  Diavolo Di Ultima.  Gizmo explained that his guild does Champ Spawns in Ilshenar and Felucca, as well as Peerless hunts.  Their guild is ready and willing to help wherever needed, and they want to make things fun for their guildmates and the alliance, should they be accepted.

Neo of Lothlore translated the orchish words of a feo-orkie, who introuduced herself as Wrukaog, newly arrived from Catskills.  She claimed to have fought and won many times against the SX guild, who have a reputation as good fighters on Catskills.  Wrukaog offered to help people who want to do battle and raids.  Wrukaog boasted that she and her love can defeat eight foes at once and she would help teach humies how this is done.  No one commented on the strangeness of an orc willing to help humies.  Perhaps the female orcs are not hostile towards humans?  Later, Wrukaog bid everyone farewell, stating that she must leave her guild and PaxOku.

Viceroy Visago asked everyone what roles they wish to fufill in PaxOku and what PaxOku might be able to provide them.  He hopes PaxOku can provide something for everyone, if everyone is willing to help.  Currently, PaxOku offers adventure groups on Thursday nights, and the PaxOku Crafters' Hall is open Sunday through Tuesday evenings.

Gizmo said he would like to see Fight Nights come back, because it was a good way to train and not be afraid of fighting.  Thomas Mann suggested "Capture the Flag" types of events.  Talon Torell said Champ Spawns.  Neo of Lothlore wants events like the Red Wolf Cafe hosted, simple contests and events, but host them on the BLT's stage.  Gareth proposed war with the orcs and Wrukaog told him he would die!  Talon Torell suggested clinics for new and young players.  Winmere wants more plays and quests.  Cammy wants to see more people populating PaxOku on a daily basis.  Kendric suggested a PaxOku Towne Faire, and is going to start organizing this event.  Get in touch with Kendric if you want to help him host this event.

Kendric wants to add his holdings on Dragon Isle to those of PaxOku.  Viceroy Visago proposed we discuss this again, when he has PaxOku more settled.  Tempest of Skye offered up the small building next door, for whatever PaxOku might need.  Viceroy Visago thanked them, and said he is working on a formal town ordinance, so the building theme will be carried out through any new additions.  He will pass this along to those interested, when it is formalized.

The next item on the agenda was how to communicate with others in the realm to let them know that PaxOku stands ready to help them, and wants to encourage everyone's participation in the town.  The skypage is a good tool outside the realm, so the debate was between bulletin boards and books within the realm.  Most seemed to think that books were better for getting information out about PaxOku, although bulletin boards would be a way for others to communicate back with the town, when no one is around.

The meeting was adjourned and all allied guilds were asked to go upstairs, to the future meeting room, and vote on DDU's membership into the PaxOku alliance.  All alliance members voted yes, so DDU becomes part of the PaxOku alliance.
