PaxOku Graveyard

PAXOKU, TOKUNO - July 11, 2006

(Reported by Gareth)

Seven miners lost their lives in the mountains west of PaxOku yesterday during a sudden and tragic mine collapse.  A lack of certain safety measures are being blamed as the cause.  Mine officials were not available for comment.

Viceroy Gareth arrived on the scene while the bodies were being carefully removed.  He placed a gag order on all rescuers until families could be notified.  Gareth met with families soon after the mine was cleared.  The families requested their loved ones be buried in PaxOku.

To make the new cemetary, Gareth, Nara, and Sarberius leveled the old PaxOku apartments and Playhouse with explosion potions set off by earthquake spells.  The building crumbled into dust.  Workers quickly cleared the debris.

Using funds from the PaxOku Treasury, the city hired Mordan to excavate and build a city graveyard.  Construction finished in the early morning today and the miners' bodies were lain to rest.  However, after construction was thought to be completed, residents heard additional digging at the graveyard site.  Viceroy Gareth asked residents and officials to find Mordan to determine the reason for additional digging at the graveyard.
