The PaxLair-wide meeting had a special guest, one who has not been seen for several months.  The Gatekeeper stood and listened to the one-hour meeting of cities and guilds.  The entity did not say much during the meeting while Mayor Winfield asked Ministers, Viceroys, and citizens to address the audience on latest projects and happenings.

The meeting covered new information about Dragons Watch leadership appointments, new exercises planned for the PaxLair Defense Forces, the next BLT Adventure, and the PaxOku auction house and vendors.

Later, there was speculation about why The Gatekeeper was at the meeting, even though it did not launch a quest upon the people.

The next PaxLair-wide meeting will be on Tuesday, July 11th in Dragons Watch, Felucca.  The July 4th meeting is cancelled so people may launch fireworks and enjoy time with family and friends.

Viceroy Benris of Dragons Watch announced he is appointing Aldermen as leaders in that city.  NANOC is now the Affairs Alderman focusing on events.  Benris will seek out and appoint two more Aldermen soon--Services (city marketing) and Histories (historian and reporter).

Minister of Defense Oda Nobunga reported the Defense Forces of the PaxLair Community continue to increase in numbers.  Oda will start having combat exercises soon.  These exercises will be held on all facets, can involve all PaxLair Cities (with permission of Viceroys), and range from small skirmishes to full-scale war exercises.

Visago announced the next BLT adventure on Thursday will take the group back to Doom.  Since the Dark Father is more difficult, new combat tactics will be discussed at the pre-adventure round-up before launching into Doom.  Visago's announced Adventures are on the BLT Adventure Skypage and also on the Stratics and PaxLair Calendars.

Miss Kayi explained more about the PaxkratOku Auctions and also that free vendor space is available in PaxOku.

After the meeting, several people wondered why The Gatekeeper was at the meeting, was so silent, and death and destruction did not descend upon the people in some sort of quest.  Some speculated it may have wanted to meet Wizard of Id, the nominated PaxLair Minister of Quests.  However, Wizard of Id was unable to attend the meeting due to problems in the ether.  Others thought The Gatekeeper had a quest ready, but too few were at the meeting.  The Gatekeeper did say that things may become more unbalanced in the Realm in the coming week or weeks.  This usually means The Gatekeeper may launch some quests.

The Gatekeeper is a "player questmaster" who has traveled around the Shard for several years bringing unique and interesting quests and challenges to people it meets.
