PAXLAIR - June 20, 1999 - Winfield

Fin of Minoc was knighted as a new Knight of PaxLair during a ceremony atop the PaxLair mage tower. Senior Counselor Boots observed the ceremony knowing this day would mark days to come where virtue would guide the Knights of PaxLair. Sir Kyle, a Knight of PaxLair, described how his squire, Fin, had served with courage and virtue over the past several weeks. In a wonderful ceremony, Mayor Winfield recited the Codex of the PaxLair Knights and Fin swore reverently to each phrase. The Mayor then knighted Fin using a mystical sword of Knights of long ago.

After the ceremony, the people walked east and north to a buiding on the main road, near the Olag Hai Orc Fort. Sir Zanthor, Knight of PaxLair, explained to the people this building was the new PaxLair Knights' headquarters for training their squires, holding meetings, studying the Virtues, and protecting the eastern entrance to PaxLair. The PaxLair Knights are working diligently to bring the true meaning of the virtues to the land.
