PAXOKU, TOKUNO - April 5, 2006

After last night's Paxlair-wide meeting, PaxOku's Viceroy Gareth met with the Mayor of Zento.  They spoke of the new Toll being put on the Homare-Jima gate.

The following conversation was recorded by the Zento City Secretary.

Gareth: Thank you for seeing me Mr. Mayor. I know you do not have much time.

Zento: Always time for another city.

Gareth: I know that the island Homare-Jima is still in the air of claim due to the death of the only true ruler. I was wondering what Zento city is doing with the island?

Zento: Right now we do not lay claim to the island but, we do work with the people residing there. For now the people have put the city of Zento in charge of its care.

Gareth: Then I believe this should be brought to your attention.

Zento: ....and what is that?

Gareth: The Englishmen city of Paxlair...

Zento: The one in a different facent?

Gareth: Correct.

Zento: Continue please

Gareth: The viceroy of the city has put a toll on the gate of homare-Jima.

Zento: A toll? What is that?

Gareth: Anyone trying to use the gate to leave the island or come in must pay money to use the moongate.

Zento: *Harsh tone* They believe they lay claim to this moongate?

Gareth: I am un sure of that but, I know they are making travelers pay to use it.

Zento: This is OUTRAGEOUS! Who are these people? Who do they think they ARE?!? *Slams fist on table* To come into our lands and lay claim to our travel routes!

Gareth: This is why I wanted to bring this up with you. Do they have a claim to do this? I know PaxOku city was settled by PaxLair but...

Zento: Absolutely NOT! This viceroy of PaxLair I wish to meet! How dare he and THAT city try to tax MY people! *settles down a bit* *Looks around*. So Gareth what do you think I should do? I know in Tokuno such an act is an act of war. From your lands what would be the thing to do?

Gareth: I am not one for war. I do not believe the army's of Zento city and the army's of PaxLair going head to head would be good for anyone.

Zento: and?

Gareth: Use Paxlair and Zento Courts. You could sue the entire government of PaxLair and avoid the death of people.

Zento: Then I will file a suit against PaxLair city. Do I sue the city....or hmmm. Could you give me the names of the government.

Gareth: Well, Winfield is the mayor, Darius is the viceroy and Dutchess is the deputy viceroy.

Zento: Then I hear-by file suit against the PaxLair city and a individual suit against: Mayor Winfield, Viceroy Darius and Deputy Viceroy Dutchess.

Gareth: I will gather the appropriate paper work.

Zento: Thank you Gareth for bringing this to my attention. If you need anything just ask.
