PAXOKU - March 13, 2006 -- Joshua
Cross, brother of former Minister of Defense for PaxLair, Elijah Cross,
was killed earlier in the week in what is being described as a 'freak
hunting accident'.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by
PaxOku healers, and as of this writing, no charges with the PaxLair
Court were being filed against Viceroy Gareth who had pulled the
trigger on the repeating crossbow which killed the younger Cross.
The
PaxOku healers were also unable to resurrect Mr. Cross because of
extensive loss of spiritual cohesion during the incident. The
victim was accidentally shot in the face while hunting golems in the
northern forests by PaxOku Viceroy Gareth, and is thought to have died
at the scene from extensive head trauma.
A spokesperson for the Lightenburg family issued a statement
that includes an apology and well wishes to the Cross family from
Viceroy Gareth.
