PaxOku Fortifying After Ronin Threat Print

PAXOKU - TOKUNO — February 27th, 2006

Viceroy Gareth Speaks about the Ronin Threat

The City of PaxOku is fortifying after several threats from the ronin of Homare-jima were made against Viceroy Gareth and the municipality of PaxOku.

The ronin, who are based at the temple to the north of the city, have allied with the ninjas of the area and the yamandons.  In the past 3 days PaxOku has been attacked in several ways by stealthing ninjas and ronins with halberds drawn.

Viceroy Gareth has devised a plan to place cannons on the roofs of PaxOku to attack the hordes of ronin and occasional yamandon that strolls down the road.  The cannons are made out of highly polished, mold cast iron, are on wheels and have a built-in sight.

Gareth has asked to have cannons placed at as many PaxOku houses as possible.  Right now there are fullscale cannons at the house of Kyrsten Elmwood and the Post Office.  Smaller sized cannons are also at the Fuedal Knight Hall and the PaxOku City Hall.

More cannons will be added soon with hopes that the ronin will decide to settle their differences with the people of PaxOku peacefully.

PaxOku News
A house named "Unknown" sprang up in PaxOku this past week.  The building was made of stone with a molten lava fall.  It comes as no great surprise that Viceroy Gareth took up the matter of it's destruction with haste.

Lightenburg was seen in the early morning hours today using the "light" to destroy this building.   Hopefully this is a sign of light tipping the scales to bring balance back to the city.

Neo of Lothlore with his date

PaxOku News
In gearing up for the upcoming Valentines Day, folks in PaxOku were looking for sweethearts to celebrate with.  Minister of Knowledge, Neo of Lothlore managed to find a "hot" woman wearing red.  Let's hope Neo doesn't take her to Elijah's and Kayi's wedding Tuesday evening.

The Upcoming Holiday will be celebrated with the wedding of the Minister of Defence, Elijah Cross and Miss Kayi.  What a wonderful centerpiece for this holiday that's all about sweethearts!

PaxOku News - February 12, 2006

It has come to my attention that Arynia is not good for this job in PaxOku. I have decided to let her go as of tonight so PaxOku can move forward into newer and better things. We wish Arynia the best of luck in the future.

I have decied to name Tatania Karthina as PaxOku's new Deputy Viceroy. I beleive she will be a fine addition to the head of command in PaxOku. She has already shown great dedication. So please make her feel at home.

Civic Beautification Project Thwarted by Plant Thieves Print

PAXOKU, TOKUNO - Thursday February 2nd 2006

Road with Plants

A Civic Beautification Project started by Elijah Cross was dismantled by a stealthing thief on Thursday evening.

Defense Minister Cross, who had grown several red pony tail palms, decided to place the extra decorative items along the entire length of Monk's Crossing, both on the north and south sides of the road.

The project, which made the road stand out and look more important was quickly thwarted by a thief when plants started going missing on different sections of the road.  Minister of Knowledge, Neo Of Lothlore and Minister Cross were immediately baffled by what they saw before them and decided to take up arms against those who might try to remove the other plants.

Before long though, the entire length of the planted-road was missing and the two Ministers sought to look in many of PaxOku's buildings for traces of the red ponytail palms.

Guarding the Plants

Astoundingly, 30 of the plants were soon recovered after they were found inside the standing room at the Post Office.  The plants were quickly replaced on the road and guarded by an additonal guard, Oda Nobunga.  Then, within seconds of their replacement, the plants began to vanish again!  A stealther was seen using the ninjitsu ability Shadowjump to move from plant to plant.

In no time, the plants were again found inside a PaxOku building.  This time: the Paladin Keep.

This madness continued for another hour before a book was found on the avenue.

Here is what was found in the book:

PaxOku City Officials have still not been able to determine why this named thief, Lazarus, decided to have a bit of fun and move the plants, but there is belief that he may return someday!

The PaxOku Groundhog Saw Its Shadow: Six More Weeks of House Remodeling Print

PAXOKU, TOKUNO - Thursday February 2nd 2006

PaxOku
Groundhog

In a ceremony on Thursday morning in PaxOku, the PaxOku Groundhog emerged from his hole, took a look around him and...

SAW HIS SHADOW!

Forecasters decided that because the PaxOku Groundhog actually saw his shadow, this meant that Gareth would probably be remodeling the city of PaxOku for another six weeks.

On Wednesday night the Paxratoku Auction House and Vendor Mall switched locations with the Playhouse and Observatory to the center of town.  Viceroy Gareth explained that a move of the commerce-centre to the middle of town would force visitors to the Mall to explore PaxOku a little more than they would have when the Mall was in the southwest corner of town.

Auction House now next to the BLT
