Deputy Viceroy DutchessVanHorn of PaxLair City,
Felucca is congratulated on running an "on time"
and excellent meeting. |
PAXLAIR CITY, FELUCCA - April 4, 2006
The PaxLair-wide weekly meeting was held in PaxLair City, Felucca. Deputy Viceroy DutchessVanHorn ran the meeting with one of the largest attendances in the past several weeks. There were many newcomers to the one-hour meeting and introductions took about 20 minutes.
Dutchess kept the meeting on track receiving reports from all the Viceroys of the PaxLair cities and towns.
Some of the most startling statements came from Viceroy Darius (PaxLair City) and Viceroy Gareth (PaxOku). Darius stated that the PaxOku trade sanction was having no effect on PaxLair City. However, Darius said that such an action by PaxOku would not go un-noticed. Therefore, Darius declared that PaxLair City, Felucca would set up a toll at the PaxOku Moongate on Tokuno to help bring more funds into PaxLair City for growth. He said this was not an invasion of any sort into PaxOku.
Viceroy Gareth was quick to respond to Viceroy Darius' plans by imposing a tax on his own establishments in PaxOku. The housing tax would help pay for the tolls. Gareth listed the individual buildings being taxed, and appeared to cover most buildings in PaxOku.
The next meeting will be in PaxOku on Tuesday, April 11th at 9 PM ET. |

DRAGONS WATCH OUTPOST, TRAMMEL - March 20, 2006
Mayor Winfield announced tonight that PaxLair City-wide meetings will now be held on Tuesdays at 9 PM ET. This is to allow for more people to come and participate.
These meetings are open to everyone and rotate between PaxLair City (Felucca), PaxOku (Tokuno), DW Outpost (Trammel), and Port Baldmor (Trammel) in that order. Runes are at the Tea House in PaxOku. Watch the PaxLair Calendar for the announced next location.
Viceroys or their representatives will lead the meetings each week, depending on which city or town the meeting is held in. The agenda for the meetings is: http://www.paxlair.com/site10/content/view/1991/617/ If a representative of that city/town does not appear to lead the meeting, then the meeting will immediately move to the next city/town on the list.
Viceroys are encouraged to offer events after the meeting, such as pub crawl, short adventure, or whatever is in the nature and interest of the city/town and attendees. |

TEA HOUSE, PAXOKU, TOKUNO - March 5, 2006
Mayor Winfield received an urgent calling through the mists of time. He peered into a crystal ball, the mists separated, and an image of an old fisherman appeared. The fisherman called to Winfield. Then a map appeared with an "X" on a small island in an uncharted sea.
The image was overpowering and Winfield knew he was being called once more on a voyage of mystery.
This trip would be different and take four days. The difference is something about an old spell of some importance.
The Mayor already asked Viceroy Gareth to run the PaxLair meeting on Monday in PaxOku.

Welcome home Minister of Diplomacy Jasper De Fargo. Lord Jasper returned to him family and friends earlier this week after being missing for quite some time. De Fargo seems well despite being abducted by the Vampire Briana Amroli. Amroli, former citizen of PaxOku is dead now.

Jasper De Fargo | PaxLair News
Minister of Diplomacy Jasper De Fargo returned home after a lengthy absence. Lord De Fargo has not spoken much of his captivity by Briana Amroli much since returning but seems to be settling in nicely.
Jasper was abducted by Briana Amroli and kept for some weeks as she tried to turn him into a Vampire. In the end, Minister De Fargo escaped and made his way back to PaxOku where Lenora of Yew and his niece Justine De argo reversed the spell that was turning him into a child of the night.
Welcome Home Jasper! |

A SECRET WEAPONS TEST FACILITY SOMEWHERE IN THE REALM - February 6, 2006
This article has been cleared by PaxLair Security Magistrates.
Due to recent attacks in PaxLair, the PaxLair Minister of Defense contracted a special engineering team to develop a weapon designed to inflict devastating damage upon the enemy. The test of a "cannon" was successfully carried out by John Henry, Mega Mule, Nightly Wood, and Sarberius while the spectators sat safely in a well protected bunker.

Paladins of Virtue, PaxOku, and PaxLair Defenses immediately ordered tens of these cannons. After the first deliveries, more cannons may be made for the public after careful security screening.
"I am confident all our cities of PaxLair will be safer once these deliveries are made," Mayor Winfield said after the test.
The secret weapons test facility is used for a variety of special testing, most of which can not be acknowledged.
