Was in front of the PaxLair Town Hall, Felucca
(dismantled for the Balance of PaxLair)
Coordinates: 74'58"N, 27'33"E, Felucca
Old Description (August 8, 2005):
COME TO THE "BALANCE OF JUSTICE" AND SEEK JUSTICE!
TWO PEOPLE ENTER -- NEITHER MAY LEAVE UNTIL JUDGED
Have a dispute? A crime was committed? Rather than dueling to seek justice, the PaxLair Balance of Justice puts two people "on the stands" and finds out who's argument ways the most. People can even offer testimony to the Judge. Then the Judge makes the decision and decides the sentence. Will the sentence be death? Survival in Wrong, the Dungeon of Justice? Community service? Or simply a statement pubished in the Archives of Justice.
Leaders need to make a decision? The leader can listen to point and counter-point from two people standing on the platforms, then make the decision.
Anyone may use the Balance of Justice at anytime.
Old Overview of Floors (August 8, 2005)...
First Floor: Three different steps enter the Balance of Justice. Two enter ominous areas under each balance platform which cause the person to be teleported onto the platform above. The middle steps go to the Judge's area which has a teleporter to the Judge's stand above both platforms. Near the Judge's area are rune books of Justice in Felucca and non-Felucca locations.
Second Floor: Consists of two platforms of the Balance of Justice. One person stands on one platform while another can stand on the other platform. Teleporters are in the front center of each platform and reportedly are the best locations for hearing what the Judge says and people on the ground.
Third Floor: Holds the two Balance platforms together by horizontal stone beams. The Judge's stand is in the center offering a good view and ability to hear most areas around the Balance. |
