"Well these navy dogs sure do know when to pick a time to fight."

"May-hap they turned tail and ran, we do have our best warriors guarding the island..."

"Nay, ol' commodore Reaver is too proud not to show, he will be here, I just don't know how he expects us to fight at night."

"Too bad your not an elf Kerrs, night, day... no difference to us."

"Well then its a good thing we got a hand ful of your kind with us tonight commodore Buds. You elves will be our eyes."

The Night air was filled with electricity as the pirates gathered around a Bonn-fire and awaited their enemy. Sharpened swords and spears were at the ready to meet the navy dogs. The sandy beach of Port Baldmor was soon to become a battle scene to remember. High above the beach on top of watch towers and the roofs of houses, scouts watched vigilantly at the horizon for approaching ships. Sipping on ale to calm their nerves the Red Dagger Pirates were giving up hope of a battle tonight.

Deep within the marshy jungle passed the beaches of Port Baldmor guards stood around the jail complex. A simple stone design, but camouflaged well to any without a trained eye. Within the walls of the jail in a cell sat Nevyn, a naval officer to USN and the half brother of Nevyn from RBG. Guards were posted along his cell to prevent the rescue...

All of a sudden a loud crash could be heard upon the beach as magical energy crackled and opened a rip through the air itself. Another loud bang and a magical blue ether gate stood by the western shore of the island. Everything stood still for a second as the pirates took their battle stance, then came the first wave of USN dogs charging straight for the pirates. Battles cries filled the nights air as the first wave of men clashed swords. But instead of standing and fighting, the USN hit the Red Daggers once and then spread out and fled into the jungle. Whats this ?? The USN run scared after one attack wave, bullocks!!

The USN tactic was unknown to us until the very end. With torches in hand the USN tried to burn any building upon the island without getting their heads cut off. Fire and panic broke out as some of the fighting pirates threw down weapons and tried to douse the flames. Shouts of "guard the prisoner" fell on def ears. The pirates were too busy trying to kill those who dared set fire to our beloved town. We slayed the USN left and right.... They kept coming back though, they used our own healers against us. Every time we felled one they would run to a healer and then rejoin the frenzy. Many navy dogs littered the beach until it was impossible for those on mounts to maneuver their steeds. Then as quickly as the chaos started it ended. Bewildered the pirates searched the island three times looking to see if they weren't just hiding and regrouping. The Navy seemed to have equipped themselves with magical scrolls, and when the time came they all disappeared back to Guardian's Gate.

During the raid though, the clever USN sent stealthers in for the prisoner, none could detect them as they quickly gathered the prisoner and made their swift escape. The blood shed and fire on the island was a decoy for the blood thirsty pirates. Many of us were mad at our foolishness. So there was but one thing to do. Bring the fight upon the shores of Guardian's Gate! We set sail the very same night, and arrived on their shores by day break. Aah revenge for destroying our island homes was going to be sweet. We searched the town and finally heard the sound of cheering and celebrating coming from their defense castle.

Quietly and discreetly we sent three men over the wall to open the large doors from within. Slowly we entered the first level of the castle one by one. When we were in position our mages blasted through the inner door and we rushed inside. The bewildered navy drew weapons and ran for the high roof of the castle. It was too late, we over whelmed them quickly and then dispatched any who challenged us on the roof. They USN tried desperately to regain their castle fortress but to no avail the pirate's brute strength could not be over come. We laid waste to any item of importance to the navy and gathered up anything else of value to sell on our black market. Then as quickly as the navy fled our island we did the same... The only difference, we barely lost a pirate in both battles, Yarr!

Next time we meet you navy scallywags we will be prepared for your clever tactics no matter what it may be!
