BUCCANEERS DEN, TRAMMEL - October 4, 2007

The United Sosarian Navy [USN] and Red Dagger Pirates [DAGR] battled in Buccaneers Den as the USN attempted to apprehend Commodore Kerrs Holley of DAGR.  The Pirates held the island against the USN in one of the bloodiest battles to hit the island in years.

The USN sought out Commodore Holley at the command of the Sheriff of Trinsic.  After the PaxLair meeting in Dragons Watch [October 2, 2007], the USN delivered a warrant from the High Sheriff of Trinsic for the apprehension of Commodore Holley.  The warrant was served at the Blue Light Tavern in PaxOku, Tokuno.

This warrant to be hereby served upon Kerrs Holley, Commodore of the Red Dagger Oirates for suspicion of aiding and abetting a known fugitive in Ricardo the Thief.  We also have reason to believe the accused and his band of malcontents has information regarding the escape of Lily Rouge from the Trinsic jail

This warrant is to be served to the accused in person and therein taken into custody of the Royal Navy for transport to the Trinsic Jail.  Should any resistance be met or any act of war committed, I hereby authorize use of deadly force by the Kingdoms Navy.  Any who take steps to hinder the capture of the accused are to be declared enemies of the Kingdom and hereby detained as well

The battle on Buccaneers Den lasted for several hours as the USN and DAGR fleets launched amphibious assaults against each other on the usually quiet island.

A standoff at the bridge proved fatal for the USN as DAGR used tactics and maneuver with speed and agility.

After the defeat of the USN, an "honest" pirate sat in the pub telling reporters the following:

In response to the brazen trumped charges levied against Commodore Kerrs Holly of DAGR the Pirates met the United Sosarian Navy in force driving them back into the sea where they belong.   The DAGR crew proved highly loyal to their leader and after he was brutally murdered returned with savage force against those USN dogs.  The massacre of USN by DAGR guild was swift and pitiless.   The Pirate forces, led by Kerrs, worked as a well oiled war machine delivering swift and decisive answer to the blatant lies of the Navy.

What ever will the 'king's men' do now that the outlaw bandit camp has bested them?   The seas are safe again from their pithy trumped charges and disregard for honest pirate ventures.

The DAGR Pirates have yet again proven in no uncertain terms that our blades are just as sharp as our tongues and twice as deadly!.......we'll meet them again i bet me ship on it..

The USN was not immediately available for comment. 

The USN may attempt to serve the Sheriff's warrant again, undoubtedly leading to another battle between the two fleets.
