PAXLAIR -June 16, 1999 -  Cyndra Kolthos

This past Sunday the "Ladies of the Lair" gave Lady Rhyssand of Paxlair a very warm and wild wedding shower! Many of the Ladies of the Lair prepared the tavern and food ahead of time with the tavern being decorated just for this fine event.

As the time approached for the guest of honor to arrive the excitement and talk was overwhelming... The air was filled with laughter and much merriment as the Ladies and many others from PaxLair and the lands gathered to give their blessings to Lady Rhyssand. Seer Magdalena graced the tavern and the shower with her presence also and arrived right on time. Then the tension mounted as they all awaited Lady Rhyssand's arrival. The men of Paxlair were gathered outside wishing they could get a small glimpse of what was to come for this event was "Ladies only" ! Soon there after Lady Rhyssand graced our presence and entered the tavern dressed in her nicest pink attire. ...and so the merriment began...food, drink and much laughter were heard throughout the walls of the tavern as the ladies talked of Rhyssand's up coming marriage to "Frodo of Paxlair" after a bit of conversation and greetings to all a mysterious gentleman appeared and was escorted inside the tavern by the Lady Kyleria Dawn. The room became quiet as a "Man" entered the abode which was to be "Ladies Only" ! With Lady Rhyssand sitting in the throne of honor the man began to speak....
with a quiet soft voice he said ...." Lady Rhyssand , art thou sure you wish to be married?" and then....he grinned!

As eyes widened and more drink was passed around the Ladies began to scream with delight....
Lady Rhyssand's look and eyes were worth it all as she giggled with excitement!

Cat whistles and clapping were heard loud and far as the Ladies had a grand time with there "Entertainment". As the man approached Lady Rhyssand the tension mounted and the room was filled with excitement! ......and then it began to get just a bit steamy!
Many of the Ladies hero's and men were surely listening outside "wishing" for just a notion of what could be happening inside the tavern!

More drink and laughter commenced as "Aries", the man of the hour, danced and provided the ladies with truly "Memorable" entertainment! 'twas a site to see as he moved to each lady and offered his "tanned" gift to each lady! Wild with wine and ale the ladies commenced to have a grand time watching and stuff gold into his ..*gasp a deep breath*

All the ladies had a wonderful time and laughed and drank to celebrate Lady Rhyssand's upcoming marriage with a shower to not soon be forgotten! At the closing of the shower and after the departure of "Aries" (who left without his cloths *giggles*) the ladies gave Lady Rhyssand many wonderful gifts. So many in fact that she had to have two of the guest help her carry them all home! Seer Magdalena approached Lady Rhyssand and offered her her very own "Silver" necklace to be worn as "Something Borrowed" during her wedding, which Lady Rhyssand accepted with grace and honor. The Ladies of the Lair would like to thank the following "TRUE" Ladies for making this one of the most memorable times for all who attended.
