PAXLAIR - May 14, 1999 - Winfield

Mayor Winfield was very pleased this day to honor a great person in PaxLair: Tycho Veg, Tinker, Vice Chancellor of PaxLair. In a ceremony atop the Mage Tower roof, Mayor Winfield made it known to all that Tycho Veg had performed marvelously as a leading official within the town. His merits included diplomacy with all groups, evil and good; his caring nature for the citizens and visitors of the town; and his self-sacrifice to become marked as a murderer, not because he is a murderer, but to prove the point that PaxLair is open to all murderers who come in peace and as a solid symbol of balance!

With the consent of Mystarr, Chancellor of PaxLair, and the people of the wilderness town, Mayor Winfield appointed Tycho Veg as a full Chancellor. Mayor Winfield stated he bestows upon Tycho Veg the authorities and responsibilities within the Mayor's office to assist all within the framework of the peaceful town.

While Tycho Veg may not forever be hued with the redness of a murderer, his demonstration of PaxLair's willingness and dedication to remain neutral, balanced, and peaceful is a tribute to the town, the people, and the Realm.
