PENNED FROM THE DESK OF MAYOR WINFIELD - May 1, 2006

Hail my friends,

I am on my way out my door for a two week adventure away from the Realm. It's truly hard to leave when I see so much activity in the Realm lately.

Chesapeake just finished a fantastic Spring Festival in Moonglow and there are thoughts to plan a festival on the Shard for every season. Outstanding!

The Inu the Crone quest looks extremely interesting and complicated. Many shards are deciphering codes and figuring out clues [read the U.Hall forum].

And, PaxLair folk are working hard on planning to host a [UO-wide player gathering in Nashville, TN for July 28-30, 2006]. I know when I return in two weeks there will be more concrete plans and major announcements will be almost ready.

Spending time away from the Realm is not a bad thing at all. It gives one a chance to enjoy other aspects of "life" and keep things in balance. I will return with even more energy to find the best fishing spots and work with the best people I've ever met.
