Disease Explanation from Last Week
Minister of Quests Ilishlaril re-explained the disease going around that causes memory loss. It has to do with people losing their memories of PaxSara in Tokuno, thinking it is PaxOku. Also, some seem to think that the PaxSara City Hall use to look different. (Note: this is a player quest)
Minister of Quests Report
Minister of Quests Ilishlaril went on with his weekly Quest report. There has been no new information about the Shadow and his search for the Books of Sin. Current standings are the Shadow has two books and the good people have two (kept safe at the Town Hall in PaxLair, Felucca). If an event occurs, it will be announced at the weekly Chesapeake Community Night gatherings in Skara Brae Trammel at the Community Center at 9 PM ET, Wednesdays. Also, Myrina Heron has not been sighted for quite some time. Many are worried that something may have happened to her. All are looking for her.
Welcome to New People and Old Friends
The audience welcomed SHROOM DADDY [HdNx] to the PaxLair meeting. He is interested in joining PaxLair and the Mayor later advised him to receive some runes from Alliance members, get to know some of the people around PaxLair, and return at the next meeting to discuss potential membership into one of the guilds.
Old friends also arrived tonight. Former Mayor Minsk came and talked to people. It's always good to see her. Also, Lord Exedore and Lady Casera Lee of the Black Dragon Clan [BDC] arrived. BDC has been a long friend of PaxLair with notable involvement in the Juo'nar Trinsic Wars when General Exedore led many people of the Realm. BDC also owns the famous Falconers Inn on Malas.
Lord Ed McManus Not Seen in the Area Yet
Elijah Cross reported Lord McManus was not seen last Thursday night as expected. All still keep a look out for him in the East Meadow of the PaxLair area in Felucca. Elijah has a Keep there now to offer defense should McManus try to attack any people in the area. Elijah Cross also talked to his neighbor who has several buildings in the East Meadow that use to be a town (name unknown). Apparently McManus is interested in acquiring those buildings.

Cross Manor - Paladin Keep of

Elijah Cross stated his tower was expanded by construction workers last week into a Keep. This will help establish a good foothold in the East Meadow, offer defense for the area, and also has a great pub and meeting hall. More information is here about Cross Manor.
BiC Closing Its Doors
Mayor Winfield stated that the GM of BiC, Ransom, has announced that the guild BiC will "close its doors". Apparently many veterans of BiC have left the Realm. This opens up more opportunities for power struggles in Felucca and dominating the various adventure and spawn areas. More information is here on the Stratics Chesapeake Board.

Mayor Winfield announced that his architects and construction workers completed work last week on a Balance of Justice. It is a large Balance located right in front of the PaxLair Town Hall in Felucca. More information is here.
More Establishments Being Listed on Sky Page
The PaxLair Skypage at http:www.paxlair.com now has a large listing of PaxLair establishments for the PaxLair, Felucca; Malas Outpost; and PaxSara, Tokuno. Much information still needs to be included, but most establishments are framed out there now. Some are completed with information on the Front Page news.
Red Wolf Cafe Event Tuesday - Regatta
According to the PaxLair Event Calendar, that is populated with PaxLair and Red Wolf Cafe events, there is a Regatta (ship race event) at the Red Wolf Cafe on Tuesday, August 9, at 9 PM ET. Bring your boats to the Red Wolf Cafe and arrive early.
Black Dragon Clan [BDC] Interested in Joining PaxLair Alliance
Lord Exedore and Lady Casera Lee stated that the Black Dragon Clan is seriously considering joining the PaxLair Alliance. Along with the sponsor Geos Cook of AKB, both met with Mayor Winfield after the PaxLair meeting and received more information. It looks promising that Mayor Winfield could invite BDC into the Alliance, but the Mayor wanted to discuss the invitation with the Alliance leadership and members first. BDC is invited back to the PaxLair meeting in Felucca next week to see what the Mayor has decided. There will likely be a brief Alliance Meeting after next week's PaxLair meeting.
