PICTORIAL: PaxLair 2004, A Year In Review

Written by Neo Of Lothlore

As I thought about what to write as a top news story this week, I began to consider writing an editorial, but on second thought, I think all the pictures I've gathered over the last year do justice better than any of my words could. I created a pictorial of the year's events, it can be found at the link below!

2004 Pictorial:  A Year in Review

Twin Temples of Order and Chaos Found in Pax-Tokuno

Reported by Neo Of Lothlore

PAXLAIR, TOKUNO
— last night I stumbled on what seemed to be twin temples of Order and Chaos at PaxLair's Tokuno outpost. The temple of Order is housed at the PxK Outpost and Stable, while the Chaos Temple is across the road from the Tea House near the Kitsune Woods.

Their creation is still a bit of a mystery, but stranger things have happened in PaxLair Tokuno (like the spring of fire!!). More information will be reported as it becomes available.

Other News:

Minutes of the Dec. 27th Weekly Meeting

Reported by Neo Of Lothlore

This week's meeting was scheduled to be held in Dragons Watch, but because of an owner change and unfriending the meeting moved to the Malas Auditorium. The meeting lasted just under an hour, and in attendance were Koranos, Neo Of Lothlore, Winmere, Lord Grimlar Mithrax, Winfield, Eli, John Duke, SNOOPY, ty the big sexy, PurPLE, TurTLE and Marc Lug'son.

Dragons Watch Report
Snoopy gave a report about Dragons Watch. This Wednesday's Adventure hunt will be a hunt for paragon daemons in Ilshenar. More information will be posted on the PaxLair and ATD boards.

Snoopy also said that the Red Guard was progressing, and that a few murderers have already been driven out of town.

North Tower to Remain in Contest Design
Because CHAMPS is still using PaxLair's Arena Tower for their tournament, the design will stay the way it is for a few more weeks. Several small PaxLair fights may be held in the meantime.

Orc Holiday on January 14th
The Kaar Barashalu Orc Clan's annual Orcish Holiday is coming up soon. The Orcs might have an event at their new village east of PaxLair, or perhaps play a game of Painball (paintball) between the twin towers.

Citizenship Discussion to Begin
PaxLair's 7th Anniversary is coming up soon (January 19th, 2005), and several people are seeking official PaxLair citizenship. A discussion is set to begin on the Pax Citizens Board.

7th Anniversary Planning
Winfield led a discussion about the upcoming anniversary. Winmere informed us that she would not be able to host the Unique Places Tour this year, but the show must go on and will likely be held by someone else.

ATD Using Teamspeak
Snoopy announced that the ATD teamspeak server would be opened up to PaxLair's use in the coming weeks. This reporter believes that more information will be posted to the boards soon.

And that wrapped up this week's PaxLair meeting.
