Welcome to Valas and Romona of AKB
PaxLair welcomes Valas and Romona to their first PaxLair meeting. They are in AKB and thus the PaxLair Alliance. Well met!
Chesapeake Fight Club Disbanded
As already reported in the PaxLair News, the Chesapeake Fight Club (CFC) was disbanded last week by Blue Collar. The weekly fights along with monthly tournaments were held atop the North Arena Tower in PaxLair, Felucca. Blue Collar wrote a scroll last week for all to read. It is here.

PaxLair and McManus Fiefdom Boundaries, Nov 1999 | Lord Ed McManus Showing Interest in Area Again
Lord Ed McManus, a known villain of the area, has recently shown interest in the area he calls the McManus Fiefdom. The Fiefdom was created in 1999 when McManus declared sovereignty over the meadow to the NE. That original 1999 article is here. The forest between the two meadows of PaxLair and McManus Fiefdom became a disputed area where PaxLair patrols protecting woodsmen sometimes can under attack. McManus made a statement within the past days that he plans to inspect his Fiefdom on Thursday, August 4, 2005.
Blue Light Tavern Becoming the Black Light Tavern
Queen Sara stated the Blue lamp posts in the Blue Light tavern will be changed to Black lamp posts, and she is renaming the tavern to the Black Light Tavern. Also, all flowers and ankhs will be removed. And the banners will be changed to the official PaxSara flag.
Red Wolf Cafe Continuing Events on Tuesdays, 9 PM ET
As done each week, the Red Wolf Cafe in Gyldenfeld has events on Tuesdays at 9 PM ET. All are invited to take part in events which can range from the comical to the challenging to the mind-bending to the mysterious to the dangerous. Red Wolf Cafe hosts several events each week. Keep up with them in the fantastic Town of Gyldenfeld.
PaxLair Community Centre has Dart Boards and Pub Now
Lord Elijah Cross has been busy upgrading the Cross Manor, PaxLair Community Centre. There is a pub and game room now, along with other features. The building is located mid-way up the meadow to the east, right in the middle of the once known McManus Fiefdom. Everyone is encouraged to visit the tower; there may be a defensive role for this tower in the days to come.
Minister of Quests Report
Minister Ilishlaril reported the Books of Sin quest continues, based out of the Community Center in Skara Brae Trammel. The Community gathering on Wednesday, August 3rd should reveal if the quest continues on Thursday, August 4th. The current "score" is two books for the Shadow (evil) and two for the good people. The latest article on the Books of Sin quest is here.
Also, the Minister reported the gems are still green for 'all clear' in Myrina Heron's office in East Britain, Trammel. It is unknown when the Britannian Guard will be called into action again. If the gems do go red again, expect a lot of people gathering quickly for battle.

Finally, Minister Ilishlaril thanked Sara, Viceroy of PaxSara, for curing him of a horrible disorder. A sinister plague is spreading that started right here in PaxLair. It may in fact have already reached PaxSara. Many people in the meeting audience were very concerned about how the plague is spread. Ilishlaril stated the symptoms of the plague appear to be a malfunction of memory. For example, Ilishlaril was affected by the plague and thought PaxSara was called PaxOku, or some such nonsense. To be cured of this plague, one must contact Sara immediately. She has the cure. So far, Lucy, Sarberius, DutchessVanHorn, and Ilisharil have been sickened and later cured.

Lucy anounces the AKB Vendor Mall | AKB Vendor Hall near Luna Open to Alliance Vendors
Lucy announced the opening of the AKB Vendor Mall just outside the Luna town walls. The Mall is open to anyone in the Alliance who wishes to place a vendor. The rent is reasonable, about 5K gold per month. One simply needs to meet with Valonne or Orianne who will help alliance members set up vendors. Lucy also stated that Sara, the Viceroy of PaxSara has been appointed to see over all the people within the AKB city and cure all citizens there tonight. Sara will also be able to use the entire army of AKB to quarantine anyone who cannot be cured of the illness.
Queen Sara Reports on "PaxSara" in Tokuno
Viceroy Sara took the stage and reported on PaxSara. She said an evil Tokuno mage has been trying to make the PaxSara city hall look like a Tokuno meeting hall. Sara sent a small army out to find him and have his spell reversed. It is hoped the city hall will return to normal in one or two days.
Also, some have noticed that Valtos' Evil Park has expanded with stronger buildings. Sara is not sure what is happening but the rumor is that Valtos' powers have increased. She has notice many evil peoples' powers growing stronger recently.
