Necromancer's Tower

The Necromancer's Tower exists to help balance PaxLair between good and evil.  This tower has long been the location where evil dwells, most recently the Followers of Armageddon [F A].  Here is where evil perform their séances receiving energy from the nearby Flame Monument outside and from many dark artifacts inside.

To strive for balance, this tower is physically connected to its sister, the Mage and Paladins Tower, to its east via teleporters on the roof.  It also has a unique red gate on the roof taking the person directly inside the front door on the first floor.  These features were added by the 'gods' in 1999 as PaxLair continued to be one of the bustling communities on the Chesapeake Shard.

All walks of life are welcome here, particularly "role-playing Evil".  As you walk through the dark halls, you may hear the wailing of wraiths while necromancers perform their rituals and prepare themselves to fend off the Paladins of the land.

Current as of July 19, 2005

Active
Building

This building is actively used in PaxLair.  It is primarily used for Roleplaying and storage.  The Followers of Armageddon have not been seen for some time, but people swear they still hear their 'whispers' in the dark evenings.

Felucca
Facet

This building is in Felucca and therefore is not fully protected from assassins, murderers, and thieves. Bring only what you can afford to lose.

Limited
PvP

By PaxLair Law, PvP is limited inside this building. The building is not designed for combat. Defenses may occur from within this building, but defenders are advised to move as quickly as possible to a combat building. There are actual times when combat is allowed inside the building, but only for Events like Paintball matches between one tower and the other. At such times, the building will be made non-public to facilitate the event. People will be banned from the building if they initiate non-consensual combat in this building. The ban period depends upon the type and frequency of the offense. Some bonifide Good versus Evil consensual role-playing combat may occur.

Neutral
RPing

Role-playing Neutrality between good and evil reigns in this building. Good and evil can come into this building and meet as desired.

Evil
RPing

Role-playing Evil also reside in this building, balancing the sister tower to the east which is good in nature.

Third Floor: Is the floor designated for private rituals with the room having ample dark seating and a front space for presentation (or sacrifices).

Roof: The roof contains an Ankh used for evil purposes, a Red Moongate on the Western side which teleports you to the First floor and teleporters with stairs on the Eastern sides which takes you to the Paladin Tower .

Additional Information...

The PaxLair Necromancer's Tower is opposite of the Paladin's Tower, and is decorated as such. It contains various evil decorations and is filled with the smell of death and decay. Only the foolish tread there when the Necromancer's are in town.
