Mage Tower
(new image coming) | The PaxLair Mage Tower is the most famous building in PaxLair, Felucca. Being one of the first buildings placed by The Band guild in this meadow, it quickly became the central gathering point in the area.
The tower is physically connected to its sister tower, the Necromancers Tower, to its west via teleporters on the roof. It also has a unique blue gate on the roof taking the person directly inside the front door on the first floor. These features were added by the 'gods' in 1998 as PaxLair became one of the bustling communities on the Chesapeake Shard.
On November 11, 1998, Lord British (Richard Garriott) personally visited this Tower, bestowed honor on the PaxLair community and mounted a plaque above the main doors reading "Proclamation of Distinction By His Royal Majesty Lord British".
Current as of November 25, 2005 |

PvP
|
By PaxLair Law, PvP is limited inside this building. The building is not designed for combat. Defenses may occur from within this building, but defenders are advised to move as quickly as possible to a combat building. There are actual times when combat is allowed inside the building, but only for Events like Paintball matches between one tower and the other. At such times, the building will be made non-public to facilitate the event. People will be banned from the building if they initiate non-consensual combat in this building. The ban period depends upon the type and frequency of the offense. Some bonifide Good versus Evil consensual role-playing combat may occur. |
