Duir of Yew & Aryslan Tower Remembered
Mayor Winfield led two minutes of silence this evening in rememberance of the Duir of Yew and the Tower/Tavern in Aryslan. Last week the original buildings of the Duir of Yew Community near the Fel Yew Gate fell into the dust; and sometime this week the Aryslan Tower will fall. The Duir was heavily populated during its heyday from 1998-2000 and proved to be a popular tavern near the moongate (when it used the time system), and the Aryslan Tower was often the sight of many battles between Vampires, the Undead and humans.
Introductions to New Faces!
Three new guests appeared at the meeting tonight and were asked to introduce themselves. Lady Carla is a merchant and owner of a grouping of Felucca crafting and supply vendor houses near Oberon Pass which specializes in Fel Prices; Jareth Kern is looking for people to aid him in creating quests; and Elwyn is the guildleader of the Church of Steel, a very old Chesapeake guild who ran out of their Monastery from 1998-2000. Welcome!
Diplomacy & Events Report
John Duke gave the weekly events report which included the Mystery Event at the Red Wolf Cafe on Tuesday Night at 9pm EST. Also Visago is hosting the AKB Hunt Tuesday at 8pm EST at the Skara Brae Community Center and Fight Night is this Friday in PaxLair at 9pm EST.
Report from PaxOku
Viceroy Gareth gave a report on PaxOku that included information on the Orcs setting up a fort in the City along with his official visit to Eldamar, a Pacific Town of Orcs. Gareth hopes to be able to bring ideas from Eldamar to PaxOku and vice versa.
And that ended the meeting. (Actually a Corp Por did but that's another story!)
