John Lennon Lives! In a dead sort of way
| Ahh,
May 30th, what a day to be a Beatle fan. Why, you ask? Because on this
date, the Beatles had two separate Number One hits, "Paperback Writer"
and "The Ballad of John and Yoko." Memorable tunes that needed
attention as I decided to go to Troubadour Hall to honor this day. As I
approached Troubadour Hall, what a sight I did behold! John Lennon
himself was there haunting the bejesus out of it. He was clearly there
to honor himself and the Beatles as I decided to go inside and greet
him.
Quite the accomplishments John Lennon had in
his lifetime, and there was much to ask him, but knowing John doesn't
like a whole lot of attention I said my greetings and left him in peace.
If
you would like to honor this great day in Beatle History, just go to
Troubadour Hall, and vote for your favorite Beatle on the roof. We are
also taking song suggestions to be added to the Hall.
