Solstice and EqualizeR duke it out

The Fifth weekly Fight Night had nine combatants battling for this week’s top spot, attempting to dethrone the Monthly and 4th weekly winner, Solstice of [!C!], who returned to defend his title. Among the combatants were EqualizeR II, Athanasios Uriah, Solstice, Te’kug, Arig’lak, Ga’kuct, Kain, Duke Nukem, and Thelordroller. It was also tonight that a new record was set by Arig’lak of [Orc], killing his opponent in 8 Seconds, setting a new CFC speed record.

The competition began with the Orcs taking heavy losses and EqualizeR and Solstice taking the top spots until it came down to just them, and only one could advance to the final round. Solstice was 3-1 against EqualizeR and was ready to make it 4-1, but in an excellent duel of spell for spell, EqualizeR took the victory and sent Solstice to the loser’s bracket for the first time in his entire Fight Night career.

With the loser’s bracket completed and Athanasios arriving to the final round, the final match had arrived, coming down to EqualizeR II and Athanasios Uriah. With EqualizeR undefeated so far tonight, it would take two victories on Athanasios’ behalf to claim the victory on the night. The two came out fighting, but EqualizeR came out fighting harder, killing Athanasios in 15 Seconds and taking his first Fight Night victory.

Thank you very much to Blue Collar of [CFC] for hosting this tournament and to everyone who came out tonight.

The next Fight Night will be Tomorrow! Friday, April 15th, at 9:00 PM Eastern. There is no entry fee and brackets are made on the spot. The Friday Fight Night is hosted by the Chesapeake Fight Club and keeps statistics of all participants Here and you can find out how to get to the Fight Night location by going Here. Thank you, and don’t miss us out!
