PaxLair Council adds AKB council members
Mayor Winfield added Kain, ty the sexy, and Zyer (the GMs of the Ancient Knights of Britannia [AKB]) to the PaxLair Council. AKB is a citizen-guild of PaxLair. Usually each guild has two council members, but AKB is the only citizen-guild with three guildmasters.
Strange Black Spring west of PaxLair Twin Towers
A few days ago, a strange black spring appeared in PaxLair just west of the Twin Towers, north of the Alchemist Shoppe/Treasury. No one knows what it means. There is speculation that Valtos the Void is doing something in PaxLair City, just like he is doing something at the Tea House (PaxLair Tokuno Outpost). Some think they might find out more by sacrificing various things into the Black Spring. Who knows.
Change in PaxLair Alliances
With consent of the guids involved, Mayor Winfield announced the creation of a new alliance associated with PaxLair. The alliance is focused on a defense force for PaxLair and led by AKB. This alliance will allow AKB to involve more guilds in defenses and also in various adventures around the Realm involving combat. The Defense Alliance, as it might be called, helps defend PaxLair events, citizens and citizen-guilds of PaxLair, and friends of the PaxLair community.
Minister of Defense still sought for PaxLair
Mayor Winfield announced again that he seeks a Minister of Defense for PaxLair. The Minister's role is generally non-combat in nature and one more of coordinating strategies and plans for defense. The Ministry of Defense information may be found here.

Red Wolf Cafe Casino Night after
the PaxLair meeting | Diplomacy and Knowledge Report
John Duke gave the diplomacy report and also covered the Knowledge Report for Neo of Lothlore, who could not be at the meeting tonight. Red Wolf Cafe (RWC) is running a Casino Night immediately after the PaxLair meeting. Tuesday is a looting race at the RWC. Wednesday is Chesapeake Community Night in Skara Brae, Trammel. Mythndale has town meetings and hunts on Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 PM ET. John Duke continues to try to locate the guild H^K to have diplomatic discussions.
Tournaments Update
Blue Collar of the Chesapeake Fight Club will host the first Monthly Friday Night Main Tournament. The Monthly Tournament is one for the best fighters to compete for a winning purse of gold. The entry fee is 25K and the purse is over 100K. Weekly Friday Fight Nights are free except for this monthly main attraction fight.
PaxLair Locations Updates
Most housing situations in PaxLair locations remain stable. PaxLair City in Felucca seems to have calmed down a bit since Queen Sara demolished several buildings. Re-construction of dwellings continues. Mayor Winfield stated a renewed interest in the Ladies of the Lair tavern. He will try to contact the owner. There continues to be more development at the PaxLair Tokuno Outpost too.
Lady Minsk's condition
Clara told the people that Lady Minsk of PaxLair remains in somewhat precarious condition. Clara asked if the "ghost" was found yet, refering to an old orc ghost. None have seen the ghost. The Tiger Claw, a being of death apparently, came and saw Minsk again and Minsk smiled at it. Very frightening. We must venture to cure our wonderful Lady Minsk soonest!
Welcome to Wizard of Id and Raelin
Mayor Winfield welcomed Wizard of Id and Raelin to the meeting. Both are mighty in the performance of archane arts. They had a long discussion with Clara regarding the mystery of Lady Minsk's illness.
Discussion of Defense Alliance after next meeting
Mayor Winfield announced he will hold discussions with all interested parties about the Defense aspects of PaxLair after next week's meeting in Malas Auditorium. This will involve hearing concepts from the Defense Alliance leaders and citizens.
