It's a LOT of fun to wear Renaissance period clothing at the Renaissance Festival.  Everyone should feel very comfortable wearing a Ren Outfit at the Festival.  Lots of people do it!

Here's some information and recommendations.

Come as you are

Wear whatever you want.  Blue Jeans, etc. You'll be comfortable and enjoy everything just fine!  If you get bitten by the RenFest atmosphere, you can even buy clothing from some of the many vendors at the RenFest too!

Basic Renaissance Clothing and Fashion

If you want to fit in with the style and fasion of the era and don't want to pay or stitch a lot, these ideas are for you.
