PAXLAIR - June 10, 1999 - Ellie Drakor

It was a quiet evening, one where my friend Gayde and I would ask "Why do we just drink ale and talk? We could hunt or dig up treasure?"

Well, I decided to buy a map for treasure, "Oh My!" I exclaimed "Gayde the ladies have a map for sale let me buy it, and adventure!"

Well we were not geared up good before it happened, Tomer had come into town earlier looking for LSD. Now I was aware that LSD was around (dancing around tables in Pax Lair Town Square) and knew something was up, Tomer was ready for war, but had three of the most AWESOME weapons you will ever see, White Wyrms!!!

Tomer had killed all but one of the LSD members when Dread lady Rose ran into the house of the Ladies Of The Lair. She ran and hid behind the counter. "Uh Oh" Penthor, Gayde, Cobalt and myself exclaimed. Well it happened, Tomer killed her but left us to spare. 

Then The big finale, all the Members of LSD came into the inn. "Not good" we thought, but the doors were blocked by Wyrms and women. The LSD members attacked Tomer, who thought it would save himself if he just released all the wyrms in the middle of the Ladies' Lair. So we all fought our way to the door but Gayde was felled by a wyrm, WAR, I believe its name was.

No sooner had I picked up Gayde's stuff to keep it from being looted than LSD started NPK'ing me. "Stupid me, I thought and I slapped myself, but alas my swing didn't strike before I was dead. so I went to a wandering healer and went back to the lair, there my and Gayde's bodies were laying motionless and all but completely looted. All I retained was a robe, my trousers, boots and an orc helm, thatI took off an orc lord on my way to Pax that night. Gayde was worse than I.  I estimate my loss of belongings near 3-4k. All my runes all my recalls and scrolls and a set of armor.

It was a sad night and I spent my time kicking the walls and cursing aloud, good thing the ladies were not there. We tidied the place up and vowed vengeance but we know it won't be done, for Pax is being plagued by evil that is threatening the very foundation of the City.
