It appears that the items that Lady Aurora of PaxLair was collecting for the
Mage Cattica were used to release an evil balron called The Slayer.Though I do
not think she was aware of the intentions of the Mage, many did express their
concern about the items. Most of which were necromantic in nature.
Aurora herself asked for the tears from the Oracle, and did accept
responsibility for their use.The mage Cattica seems to have died after
drinking a foul potion made from all the ingredients, leaving the Slayer in
her place.
Aurora tried to block the doorway leaving the temple where the Slayer was
summoned at, and it looked to be working until in one strike she was slain. At this point many attacked the beast and it slew many before it escaped into
the woods. The Slayer had declared that it could now release it's brothers.
Aurora was overhead to be blaming herself for the foul release of this Slayer,
though several argued that she could not have known.
At the Ladies of the Lair Tavern in PaxLair, Aurora was seen to be very upset,
some might call in hysterical.She was last seen in front of the Lair removing
her clothing and heading west into the woods. A bystander reported that he
saw her hair change from golden brown to pure white before his eyes. Meanwhile
many of the citizens of PaxLair and folk were engaged in forming a hunting
party to try and hunt this Slayer down.
The town criers reported that the foul creature was sighted at the Chaos
Shrine, amidst the many murderers there. The creature summoned it's foul
bretheren, but in the end the creatures were defeated. |
