PAXLAIR - May 27, 1999 - Pfredd Mudd

During a recent trip to PaxLair, I was pulled aside by an acquaintance, who, for now, shall remain nameless. He proceeded to tell of an Oracle, also referred to as The Lady of the Woods, which had been located recently by himself and a bard friend of his.

After the bard entertained the Lady with songs of the woodlands, which she seemed to enjoy immensely, she proceeded to tell them that Ancient Texts would soon be delivered to a City "Blessed by the Gods".

Which city, when they would be delivered, and what is in the texts is still a mystery.

My informant believed that the city the Oracle referred to was PaxLair, but that is only an educated guess at the moment.

A parchment falls upon the newsdesk, dropped from a personal journal. It is several drawings of someone I've never seen before. Curious, I look at it before I put it back, wondering who... or what... the artist might have seen...
