Attention to all registered and people registering on www.paxlair.com web site.

We are now using the REAL NAMEs (Name:) field in your registration for many things.  This is an uncontrollable software requirement for our work at establishing more News reporting features and your ability to update your own items on the PaxLair Web Site.  News Articles and the PaxChat systems use REAL NAMEs.

We have no intentions of revealing any true real-life identities.  This web site system has FIXED features that use "Names" instead of "Username". So, please change your "profile/my details" appropriately on the USER MENU when you log in to www.paxlair.com .

SO... IT IS IMPORTANT...

DO NOT USE YOUR REAL-LIFE NAMES.  You can update/change your settings in the User Menu "Your Details" - Just use the following:

Name: character name [guild initials] (note: this is the REAL NAMEs field that will be displayed after you log in)

    For Example:  Jane Doe [GaL]

UserName: whatever short login name you want.  At times, this name may be revealed too, but hopefully only to SysAdmins. (This is your Login name, not the displayed name on the Site.)

    For Example: janedoe

Your registration email addresses are still protected, but must be valid.  Duplicate emails are not allowed either for any registered users.

Finally,  anyone has trouble registering (receiving the automatic activation email from our server), check your spam filter inboxes first. If this does not help you get the activation email, post the trouble on the PaxLair boards, or send an email to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .
