Tournament on
October 21, 2004 | Hail one and all! The Tournament of Champions has been announced and will take place at the Chaos Shrine in Felucca on October 1, 2005. The Tournament of Champions, run by Lord Ed McManus, is destined to be an annual event. The last one was run in October through December 2004.
The daring tournament will consist of the Pankration (Duel of Agony), Myaloium (Battle of Wits), and Oploium (Battle of Weapons).
UPDATE: Aug 30, 2005 - Tournament will be held at the Chaos Shrine in Felucca, just WSW of PaxLair.

Show Chesapeake what you have. This is the 2nd Tournament of Champions. You can be recognized for your true skill.
#1 The winner will receive the following * His own flash movie. This movie will include a re-enactment of the final blow for the championship, and a little something else . The Hall of fame will be on this website. (women may not enter this toonament, much like Augusta National Golf Club).
* 1 million pot that i will put in myself before any entry fees.
* first round bye to all future tournaments
* Winner of Pankration will have tournament named after him.
#2 This tournament will be a Annual event. (once a year for you courages & Draclovers) The tournament's first round will be held in one day and the finals in another.
Myaloium
This is the battle of wits, mage vs. mage, no weapons held in hand. Pure intellect. The Myaloium will be done in a confined area 8x 8. Where mages will be unable to come into physical contact with each other. No Nox Mages, no poisoning other than level 1 because you will be sepearted by two tiles! No Necro or Chilvary Spells as they are not magery. No Pots, No Fields.
Oploium
This is the battle of weapons, no offensive spells, just pure hand to hand combat. The Oploium will be done in a confined area 1x 7. So that running will be impossible. The combatants MUST engage each other. DISARMING will not be permitted

Pankration
This is the duel of Agony. No rules, except winner advances. The Pankration will be done in a confined area approximatly 8x8
You may enter one, two or all three, but the entry fee will be 250k.
Pankration winner takes 55%
Myaloium winner takes 25%
Oploium winner takes 20%
Only the Pankration takes the Ultimate prize aformentioned.

This year we will finish each events first few rounds in one night. The three finals will be done on one night. Ed McManus will be the sole arbitrator of rules.
