Hail good folks of Chesapeake!!
The PaxLair
Theatre Company is changing it's name as well as it's mission. The
Theatre Company will now be known as The Chesapeake Theatre Company!
The
Theatre Company has been around for nearly a year now and has put on 3
splendid plays during that time. Now, it's time for expansion.
After
an encore production of "PaxLair: Then and Now" next weekend, there are
plans of having "Gone to Wind" playing again in Chesapeake, then in
Sonoma in the City of DarkMoor as well as in Pacific. Hopefully we'll
be able to have the play in other shards as well.
In the future,
I'd like to see Theatre Companys in different shards, taking their
productions on the road for all of UO to enjoy.
Anyone
interested in becoming a part of the Chesapeake Theatre Company please
contact me. [ICQ 155 890 653] There's plenty of positions available for
stage hands, costuming, props, writers, actors / actresses, public
relations and many more....
Come join in the fun!!

Evil Mazrim turned the Spring to Blood in the Opening Night of
"History of the Spring" performed in PaxOku. | PAXOKU, HOMARE-JIMA, TOKUNO - January 17, 2006
The reviews are starting to come in about the Opening of "History of the Spring", a play held tonight in PaxOku for the 8th Anniversary of PaxLair. Indications are that it was a smashing success! People were on their feet after the play and had the actors sign their Programs.
Lenora (PxL) wrote and directed the play held atop the Post Office in PaxOku to a crowd of more than 15 people.
"I have never seen such a well done play, and with a historical tie!" one reviewer said after the play. "It helped me understand more about the early beginnings of PaxLair in Felucca and of course the significance of the Spring."
The play started with the creation of PaxLair by guildmembers of The Band (Jaer Steelrein), it's founding guild, then progressed to the appointment of the Mayor Winfield (Neo of Lothlore). Soon Winmere (Tatania Karthina) brought a bit of water to the "god" (Neo of Lothlore) to place as the Spring of Knowledge outside the Mage Tower in PaxLair. The Citizens of PaxLair (Tatania Karthina) were pleased and rejoiced!
Soon, Mazrim's touch was felt upon the Spring of Knowledge, turning it blood red. But Seer Daemeon (Jaer Steelrein) sacrificed himself to purify the Spring and turn it into the Spring of Courage. The audience was silent when seeing the account of Seer Daemeon's sacrifice. Many remember that day and some had tears in their eyes. But all rejoiced again when the Evil Mazrim's touch was removed and the Spring was blue once again.
The PaxLair Theatrical "History of the Spring" will be played again on PaxLair's Official Anniversary night, January 19th (Thursday) at 9:30 PM ET after the Parade (8 PM ET) and the Official Ceremony (9 PM ET). The 25 minute play will undoubtedly be another huge success. Get to the PaxLair Post Office stage in PaxOku early and get a good seat!
The PaxOku "Zoomify" Map is updated with the Play at the Post Office. |

| PaxLair, Felucca - January 17th, 2006  Tonight, Tuesday the 17th of January 2006 the PaxLair Theatre Company will present "A History of PaxLair"!

The show opens circa 1998 when The Band decided to begin a town in a meadow north of Britain, East of Yew and West of Vesper. While The Band
builds the town the chorus of Citizens sing and tell the tale of how
Winfield became mayor, and how the Spring of Knowledge was placed by
the gods, ruined by Mazrim and cured by Seer Daemeon.
