Victory in Paxlair

Hail citizens of Britannia, Last night we rised up against the forces of evil and we crushed them. Warriors and mages from every corner appears in Paxlair last night. Thank you all, without everyone of you we would have failed.

I arrived in Paxlair early in the evening, I could almost taste the battle to come. People were starting to gather in the various areas of Paxlair. Soon enough people started asking me how they could help. The task of organizing the soldiers was not easy. A carefully laid plan of attack was designed and the soldiers needed to know exactly what to do. The soldiers were split into 3 or 4 groups. There was one main attack force just east of the 2 towers. There were 2 other groups each with a rune that will bring them right into the heat of battle. The 4th group (I thimk Don Martin was incharge of that one) was to the west of the eternal flame.

The biggest problem was to make sure that the soldier knew that we cannot attack until the spell has begun. After a good hour of organizing the troops. The wraiths arrived and started to cast the spell. I gave to call to attack to the main group. I quickly ran to the gate group and gave the call to attack. I join the last gate group in the attack. Our tactic worked the wraiths and they allies were surrounded and there was no escape. I charged the ennemie ranks, it was not long till I was mortally wounded and had to be draged our of battle to be healed. The fight raged on, Uuban compleated one part of the as wraiths and deamons started to surround us. There were ennemies and allies all around. It was truly a sight of pure chaos.

After the last daemon fell a cry of victory could be heard echoing all through Paxlair. It was then we all knew we have won and were safe from evil. It was truly a grand day.

Later that evening Savon Dravren explained to us about the wraiths and their dark father. The dark father wanted to conquered and corrupt Britannia, he first sent the First Daughter, but she turned against him and made sure he could not get here. Then the dark father sent his prophet Uuban Dalik.

This is where the events begun that lead up to this moment, V*A tried to protect the first daughter but the wraiths nearly destroyed them and took their tower. From that point on hte wraiths worked into creating the portal for their dark father. Mayor Winfield also added that the Dark Father would never be able to enter via a gate in paxlair due to the power effects of the stream of courage that goes beneath the city. And finaly to mention the reason we found out where the wraiths would be was because of the Spirit of Julia Simon who showed Eli of V*A where the wraiths would do their ceremony.

Well that is the version of the events from a simple warrior, thank ye all for thine help.

OOC Comments: First of all I would like to thank all the people that worked hard to put this quest together. This is no small feat, I was only there for the last chapter but this quest has gone on for the last few months.

I would like to thank all the villains for making the sacrifice of being the targets :)

And I would also like to thank everyone who participated in the quest, without you all there would be no quest.

This is an example of what can happen in this game if everyone works together. With a little work and patience wounderful things can be accomplished. For those who say nothing ever happens in this game look around there are lots of things going on, you just have to get involved. I for one had quite and enjoyable time on this quest and I have made many new friends along the way.
