I rushed to Aryslan tonight to hear of the news of Mazrim's impending attacks to occur on Thursday in many of the Towns of Britannia. I learned a messenger warned the towns of Aryslan, Corwyn, Haven, Humility, and PaxLair. Jamlyn Hakkendyn explained to me the dire situation and asked me to do all I could to help rally forces to confront Mazrim and his evil followers. I lauded the efforts Aryslan and Jamlyn were doing to bring the cities together during a time of urgent need.

I returned to PaxLair in deep thought. Without even knowing where I was walking, I approached the Spring of Courage. Yes, the Spring where Mazrim's vile touch was cured by the beloved Seer Daemeon a long time ago.

While I was lost in thought I looked up and saw a shadowy figure appear within the Spring. I opened my eyes wider and focused on the figure which I immediately recognized as the "essence of Daemeon". I knew his essence remained in the Spring of Courage to guide us, aid us, and give us everlasting courage. It was not until this day, though, that I once again saw his essence.

"So a mighty battle may be upon us, my old friend," I said to the shadowy figure. The figure raised his right hand and waved it over the Spring of Courage. He then touched his hand to my head as I bowed in reverence. I felt the strength of Courage.

As I then looked up, I saw the shadowy figure was gone. I did not have to look around in search of the figure because I knew it was within the Spring of Courage.

Courage flows throughout PaxLair. Mazrim may bring a mighty battle to PaxLair Thursday eve, but I know all who come within PaxLair will feel the courage which Seer Daemeon has given all of us.

All peoples are encouraged to defend the towns of Britannia on Thursday night. PaxLair no longer has an army, but we do have the eternal Spring. Mazrim will have a difficult time dealing with the power of one [Daemeon] who's sacrifice was made of pure Love for the beings of this land, the Truth and Knowledge within the City of PaxLair and the Realm, and the renewal of Courage now flowing from the Spring.
