Hail good citizens of Britannia.

Recently, whilst sweeping up the cobwebs in the alchemy shoppe of Paxlair, I did happen upon a book seemingly forgotten and left behind by a patron. It read thusly:

Captain's Log, the great ship Serpent Slayer:

The Salty Dog

A storm out at sea has forced me to heave to in this damned town to procure repairs on me trusty ship. I have never seen such villany on the high seas as I have around the banks of this cess-pit of a city!.

Fishin' taint been much good of late, and me coffers are gettin' empty of me lotus. If'n I donnae get some to chew on soon, I'm thinkin' I'll go out o' me mind!

Mightin' I can see that alchemist up in Paxlair sometime soon if am am fortunate enough to erm..... aquire some plunder, ar!.

Least ways, the next person wantin' to charter me boat better offer up some lotus afore we even begin to haggle prices!.

I didst overhear a rumor that some damned thief up on the isle of ice knows the whereabouts of old Red Ned Ocham's treasure. Tis said the old pirate had laid up a tidy store of goods in 'is sea chest aforn that Xun Verin fed his heart to the orks. Har! Red always was a dolt!.

The news is that this thief frequently attempts to plunder a wooden shack on the western shore of the isle of ice. The shack is located near a small bay, and is sheltered from the fierce storms that pound the seas about the island. Tis said that the denizens of the shack are also lotus eaters and market thier wares there.

As soon as I visit the alchemist I think I will pay a visit and try to umm... persuade that rogue to tell me what he be knowin' 'bout Red's lost sea-chest.

Captain Zog

That is how it read. Tis said that when a vial of blood is visible behind the counter of Sion's old shoppe, that the clues may be investigated.
