Party at Gwen's house!

Last night the PaxLair Survival Shop opened anew, with the first public party in over 5 months. Many people showed up to support the shop. The overall atmosphere was that of a little get-together. No big events, or prizes, just free food, drink, and friendly conversations.

Gwendelyn Stacy was the guest of honor at the event. The celebration was for her return after a long absence. However, an evil Gwendelyn Stacy also showed up. This "evil Gwen" had the exact same name as the barmaid in a pink dress, except, this Gwen, had a morbid look to her, and was a member of the CoV. It would seem there is an ongoing dealing with the two.

Gwendelyn explains, "Well,  *looks down* this is a rather long story. You see along time ago, there was a girl named Alanna. She promised her soul to a witch. When Alanna filled her destiny by breaking a magic staff on an evil statue here in the city. Then she vanished.

We went the the witch thinking that she had clamed her soul. Alanna and I were very close. When we found the witch I offered a trade, mine soul for hers. The witch accepted, but Alanna was never found and the witch never came to collect from me, not yet anyway.

It was not long after, well this part is second, hand to me, as I do not remember much. I am told that a friend of mine named Brandon, betrayed me. He took me to the dark prince Hephestus, of the CoV, where I was cast into the Void.

I am told that another Gwendelyn Stacy, a dark one, came forth in mine place. She serves the dark things in life. A dark mirror of myself, I am told that many months have passed, between now and then. To me it was but a day, and many people and things have changed. I found myself standing out front looking at the doors. It seemed that much was lost. I had little left but this place, so I thought it only right to hold a party.

So here we are. Although I did not expect the Childe of the Void, the Evil Gwen, to show up, it seems that we share some link. I tend to get a bit dizzy when she is near."

After explaining to me the current situation, Gwen confirmed that the peoples of PaxLair can expect to see a lot more of her. The PaxLair Survival Shope is slowly getting a lot of attention, and it is occupied every so often (a lot more then some "shopes" can say). I wish them luck, and a joyful existence.
