Last eve (Thursday, July 13), I was wandering around PaxLair, keeping the streets clean of monsters when Wixim the Mad approached. I had heard of his exploits in Corwyn, so I asked to roll first.

He motioned to the tables just outside Luigi's and wanted me to sit. He brought out his dice and cup and told me do not roll before or after he tells me to, only when he gives the signal. My mind went blank for a moment until I realized he had given me the signal.

I rolled... a 3 and a 4- 7. I was quite confidant that he could not beat my score, since It was above average.

Luck was not with me that day. He rolled an 8, and with that he pranced around screaming "They come, They come" and thrice struck his staff upon the ground. The staff was one which I had never seen the likes of before, twas in the shape of a serpent, and appeared to be alive at times.

While we were killing the serpents, I snatched up his dice and cup. After one had died, I did not want this chaos inflicted upon others. When we finished, he looked to the table where his dice were moments before, and panicked. I feared the man was taken by demons, so true was his fear. He ran around screaming, and more snakes appeared. He summoned around 10, and then ran into the woods screaming. I wish I had thought to follow him, but I was fighting off his previous mess.

I then rode to Corwyn, and left his dice to be given to the mayor. I hope that the Coven can keep them from him.

I must warn you- his game is dangerous. Do not play unless you are surrounded by warriors and mages to whom you would trust your life. I have stopped him for a while, but I fear it will not be long enough.
