It seems rather silly to ask a ghost if it's alright to stable a dragon, but that's exactly what I found myself doing Tuesday night. It all started when I went to PaxLair. Trotting by Luigi's, I was hailed by Miss Audrey Brooks and Isabelle LaVeaux, who told me my services as a tamer were needed. Upon further questioning, I learned that a ghost, called The Gatekeeper, said that a red, female dragon must be tamed and brought to him. I followed Miss Audrey to where a number of people were standing around this ghost. I laughed when I saw that someone had named their pet, "RedDragonFemale". They must have thought this would appease The Gatekeeper's request.

Our first destination was Destard, where we tried, and tried, to tame a red dragon, but the fates were not kind. Many of us died, and I've never angered a beast so many times, in all my years of taming. To make matters worse, other dragons were brought down upon us, along with other beasts. It was not a pretty sight. Just as we thought we might finally achieve our goal, a lone warrior rode in and attacked the weakened dragon I was taming. At that point, I asked my companions to kill the dragon. As the creature died, I thought I saw a great dragon spirit arise from the corpse, but then I blinked, and it was gone.

We took some time to regroup outside the Destard entrance. Miss Audrey and Isabelle told me they had found a lone red dragon near a waterfall. It was calling out to us. With their help, we gated there, only to find that a few of our companions were stuck in the raging waters. Thanks to Zog's quick thinking, he was able to mark a rune and gate them out before Luigi's pizzas became too waterlogged.

We found the red dragon and after a long ordeal, I finally tamed it. I could never have achieved this without all the help from Miss Audrey, Zog, Isabelle, Bel'la, hong-kong fooey, Visago, Luigi, Aphra, and Monk. According to The Gatekeeper, we had to take the tamed dragon and kill two gray dragons with it, so back to Destard we go. The red dragon quickly dispatched two gray dragons along with a few other beasts. I collected the loot from the two gray dragons and we headed back to Trinsic, to tell The Gatekeeper that our task was complete. Little did I know, that the task had just begun.

"You must take this hawk, he said..." [Oh sorry, wrong fantasy]. "Her name is Mylanth, " the Gatekeeper said, "you must name her so. You must protect her at all costs. She is the sister of the Black Dragon and knows of Haden Ventri. Haden Ventri was created by the Black Dragon. You must communicate with one called Azareil, if you can find him. You must communicate that the Black Dragon's sister is in your care. She MAY be able to aid Azareil. Keep Lady Mylanth safe. The second reason Mylanth is here is rather vague."

With Zog's help in translating what the Gatekeeper was saying, I was told to turn the dragon to face the crowd and the dragon would speak through the Gatekeeper. Lady Mylanth speaks, "It has been a long time since I have wandered. I have sought a child, one who will enter the realm through a door still hidden. I vow to bring you closer to the Maid. Together we will fight what we must, so she may enter. I do not know where she will appear, but I am ready to fight with you. I am yours. You must keep me safe and call me forth when needed. I will be needed with regard to my brother, the Black one."

So, rather than an ending to this tale, it seems it's just begun. I'm now the caretaker of Lady Mylanth and she's a key for things to come. I must now make preparations to find those she spoke about. Perhaps my companions of this night's ordeal, will help me once again.
