This week the PaxLair weekly meeting minutes will resume in their old format.  Special thanks goes to reporter Winmere for covering all sorts of events over the last few weeks!  Tonight's meeting ran for the allotted time of a half hour before making way to the Red Wolf Cafe in the new town of Gyldenfeld, at the Britain X-Roads in Trammel.  In attendance this week were Eli, Neo Of Lothlore, Lord Monk, John Duke, Mayor Minsk, Lord Jasper, Rebbeca, DoomFyre, Winmere, Grimlar Mithrax, John McBain, Marnier, and SNOOPY.

Town Of Gyldenfeld Opens: Weeklong Celebration

The town of Gyldenfeld, a new city centered around the Red Wolf Cafe in Trammel officially incorporated and opened its doors on Sunday night.  Mayor Minsk congratulated the town, and had Rebbeca say a few words about the events planned.  More information on Gyldenfeld can be found at it's site or at the *V* Site.

Mayor and Audience Plan the Thor's Day Event

After a bit of discussion on running a regular type of event, the audience at the meeting tonight vied to have PaxLair officially spend Thor's day in celebration at the new town of Gyldenfeld.  The Red Wolf Cafe will host a looting race with nice prizes this Thursday at 9pm EST.  All interested can meet at the town hall in PaxLair and catch a gate to the Cafe this Thursday at 8:50pm EST or use the red CCA runebook on the steps of the townhall to travel there alone.

John McBain of Dragon's Watch Considers a Merger with PaxLair

Tonight John McBain of ATD and Dragon's Watch suggested a possible merger between the cities of PaxLair and Dragon's Watch to form a united Feluccan empire where citizenship would be carried between both towns.  This would involve the merging of councils, the equal hosting of events in each of the towns and a number of unified guilds.  The mayor of PaxLair is expected to have a conference with Dragon's Watch officials soon to discuss all the details.

New Guard Tower Built in PaxLair

Thanks to the support of stone masons in Britannia (for not striking like those cowardly carpenters!), PaxLair has a new Watch/Guard tower located just south of the town hall.  Special features make it nearly impervious to outside attacks at certain points, while giving a band of archers the upper edge if anything they are scouting comes too near.

PaxLair Heads to the Red Wolf Cafe's Comedy Night

After the meeting a good number of folks made their way to the freshly re-designed Red Wolf Cafe in Gyldenfeld to get a good roaring laugh at Anton's Comedy Night.  The opening skit was performed by none other than Winfield, who re-enacted an event where his house key and rune were stolen (true story) while attempting to sell fish!  The entire story of that can be found here, in the depths of the new official PaxLair news database.  The night later played host to an improv competition between two grounds of six, which was in-the-end won by the Red Team!
