| Subject: | Waylaid by an Ebil Orc! |
After opening a gate to the Red Wolf Cafe on July 19, 2004, I noticed a lone orc in the orchestra section, one floor above the PaxLair meeting hall. "Are you coming with us?" I inquired. "Com wid Gak! Unlee tak sekund," replied the orc. Apparently he had other plans for us humans. Lord Monk commented, "He wants us to see something." Grimlar oohed and ahhhed about this unexpected turn of events. We followed the orc through the east woods, crossing a small housing area, and back into more woods. These woods had a more forboding feel, than the East PaxLair woods. Arriving at an area near the Orc Fort, the orc proclaimed, "Howah! Dis Ebil! EBIL!" pointing to the sign upon a house. "Orc Palace?" asked Winmere, looking puzzled, while Grimlar stated that he agreed it was ebil. Gak replied, "Gak nub fynnizhed dekuradin. Gak make dis ebilir." "It already looks ebil," noted Winmere. "Gak prugh offiz! Wid windo," says the ebil orc. "An ebil urk room?" asked Grimlar. "It certainly looks the part," commented Lord Monk, while Winmere stated that it looked like a place of sacrifice. "OO! Sumtymz," replied the orc. "Gak eet lunzh ere." Grimlar looked undaunted by the orc's words. "When they speak of the virtue of Sacrifice, I do not think it means the sacrifice of others!" proclaimed Winmere. "OO? Nub?" questioned the orc. "Lat ib blahin krazee." "I suppose you do not follow the virtues," said Winmere, with a slight frown. "OO?" questions Gak. "Wargodz blah dis. Gak lysin to demz." "What do the Wargodz say?" asked Winmere "Yub, yub! Gak du!" replies the orc. "Ogba! ib Gakz birtue. Der ib udder ashes, Kihagh, Iggju, Rokgagh, Aughagh, agh Gogra." "Without evil,... what would we have to do?" questioned Grimlar. "Good will always prevail." "We could build and philosophize, among other things," Winmere replied. "OO!" the orc gives a *hrch, hrch*. "Gak is phyllospher." "How so, Gak?" asked Winmere "Ib ilid Gid compid en wuud... agh nub ash dere to heer dems... Du demz mak noyze?" asks the orc. "I guess not," replied Winmere, while Grimlar chuckled at the orc's question. "Lat ib wrung!!" cried the orc. "Demz mak noyze, Gak ib fayr lee sur." "You live to hear that death cry?" asked Winmere. "Agh pix gakz noz..." replied Gak. "Who, or what, is Aughagh?" asked Winmere. "Dat ib ebil!" cries Gak. "Demz ib... Deceebirz. Lyk Azizunz." "So, you listen to the death cries in the forest and pick your nose?" inquired Winmere. "Peep fur feo-orkiez tuu," replied Gak. "Tak upt lutz ogh gak tym wid dat. Gak lob demz! Ash ur dub." "Have you found any female orcs yet?" asked Winmere. "I have never seen a female orc. It would be interesting to see one." "Dere wud gakh mangee muunz ugo," said Gak. "What if you find one?" asked Winmere. ""Gak prugh, demz bubhosh! Clomp wid demz! Demz ebiler urkiez!" "What if the feo-orkiez wants to rule you, and all the orcs?" questioned Winmere. "Nebbir habben! Maybee..." Gak ponders this answer. "You never know what the Wargodz might send you," said Winmere. "Demz ib ebil doh.... agh bubhosh. OO! Gakz orkmiz wyzh!!" replied Gak. Smiling, Winmere said, "I hope so." Gak replied, "Su du Gak!" Gak explained that the ebil ones had given the Palace to him. Winmere inquired about the Orc Fort and said that she had not been there since the PaxLair Anniversary Tour. Gak asked where wuz trubut? Winmere said she had left tribute, but there was no one in the fort to collect it. Gak said, "dat wud dat wus! Gak gid demz." Winmere commented on the orc fort being so empty, and Gak said he still uses it. Lord Monk stated he must depart. Grimlar and Winmere still had to get to the Red Wolf Cafe for the "Looting" event. We departed from the ebil orc and went our separate ways. |
