Special thanks this week goes out to Lady Winmere, Legendary Short-Handress for taking meeting notes, as I was unavailable to attend.  In attendance this week were DoomFyre, Lord Monk, Grimlar Mithrax, Winmere, Earl, Mayor Minsk, Kevin, Ga'kuct, Winfield, and Cross MacLeod.  The meeting lasted a short half-hour, then those present encountered the Gatekeeper!

Captain Nemo's Ship in Drydock

Mayor Minsk announced that Captain Ne(m)o Of Lothlore's ship was suspended in drydock for repairs this week, and would thus be unable to compete in the Red Wolf Cafe's monthly regatta.  Sail Team PaxLair, commanded by skipper Neo Of Lothlore had won the three previous races.  There's always next month!

Adventure Night Group to Check the Gate Each Thor's Day

A suggestion made at the last Gatekeeper quest was to host PaxLair Adventure nights from the Gatekeeper's Gate, or at least check in each Thursday to see if the Gatekeeper has any business in store for the questing stalwarts attending the weekly hunts.

Balance Poll at 'The Underworld' in PaxLair

The Gatekeeper has asked that a poll be setup in PaxLair so that he may assess the balance of the realm, and the City.  The poll's ballot box is located on the steps of "The Underworld" (formerly the Mayor's Office) in PaxLair, and should be accessible to everyone.  The poll asks the question "Are you Good [Nay] or Evil [Aye]?".  The box will be on the steps for a few weeks while the Gatekeeper monitors the results.  Everyone, friend, foe, ally or enemy is invited to vote at The Underworld.

Meeting Ends, Group Finds Valtos the Void at the Underworld Gate

After the meeting, everyone ventured to the Gate to check for lore updates, only to find Valtos the Void stepping off of his ship.  Valtos told the group that he was playing a little game of hide and seek with the Gatekeeper, as he was out conducting his duties.  Valtos needed access to the Gate though, and had not a key, so he involuntarily subjected himself to questions from the party of adventurers.  It was explained that Valtos' ship contained everything connected to him: souls, bodies, potions, and other stuff!  Valtos and the group continued to talk for several minutes, and then left the Gate for Destard to collect red dragon scales for Moonglow.
