Plans for the opening ceremonies of the new PaxLair Town Hall were largely discussed at this week's PaxLair weekly meeting, which lasted a fast (and to the point) half hour!  In attendance this week were Mayor Minsk, Masamune, Winfield, Jaz, Aria, Nilbog, Annwvyn and Kerryl Foxfyre, Xotche of Meade, Grimlar Mithrax, Neo Of Lothlore, Winmere, Lord Monk and the Gatekeeper.

Plans for Thor's Day Hunt: Gatekeeper Shows Up

As Mayor Minsk and the audience of the meeting were brainstorming an event for this Thursday's Adventure Night hunt, the Gatekeeper showed up, mid-aisle at the meeting!  It said that a group of adventurers would be needed to travel to a location near the Gargoyle City, and use the Teleport "Rel Por" Spell to gain entrance to a special location.  The spirit informed us that it would like to learn more about this location, and that such knowledge would be of great importance.  All interested in aiding the Gatekeeper are asked to meet at the PaxLair Paladin tower, this Thursday at 9PM EST.

Town Hall in Construction Phase; Opening Ceremony Planning

Winmere addressed the crowd, this evening, with an update on the status of the new Lord Thelorn Town Hall.  The hall is currently being constructed, small details are being corrected with the architect, furniture is being made, and the front doors are set to be unlocked in one-to-two week's time!  An opening ceremony is also being planned for a few weeks down the road.  Prizes will be given away, tours directed, an the possibility of seeing a small play at the new theatre is very good!  Plans for the ceremony will be finalized, and announced at the PaxLair meeting next week.

SOFA:  Safe Our Felucca Alliance, Established by ATD and Dragon's Watch

As an update to last week's address by John McBain of Dragon's Watch, the SOFA has been established to petition the gods to change certain problematic features of the latest publish.  Most notable of these ill-features, is the inability to defend against red attackers and use a house as a staging ground.  To sign the SOFA, please visit the SOFA Petition Site.

PaxLair Attends the Red Wolf Naked Dungeon Escape

After the PaxLair meeting wrapped up, we headed over to the Red Wolf Cafe to take part in the Naked Dungeon Escape Contest.  As soon as we arrived, we were stripped down, whisked away to Covetous, and left to dodge harpies as we made out way to the exit!  A total of three rounds were made, and the nudebodies jogged through the fire dungeon, and a different corridor of Covetous during the next two rounds.  At the very end, a tie breaker was run to determine the second and third place winners.  The tiebreaker took competitors to two cities, to recover cleverly hidden golden daggers.  In the end, Jon of *V* took home the prize, with Neo Of Lothlore placing second, and Masamune of *V* winning third.

It was a fun night, with plenty of excitement shown toward the plans for the Town Hall opening.  See you all next week.
