This week PaxLair held a very short meeting, commencing at the unusual hour of eight o'clock, so that we were able to attend the Chesapeake Triathlon, put on by the Fellowship of Virtue and the Red Wolf Cafe.  In the crowd tonight were Nilbog, Zog the Necromonger, Winmere, Mayor Minsk, Rayven Stormglow, Clain, Neo Of Lothlore, Grimlar Mithrax, Lord Monk, Cross Macleod and JEG.

Tower for Sale Near Pax Causes Some Alarm

Mayor Minsk announced that a tower was for sale near PaxLair, and Grimlar Mithrax backed it up by informing us that the going price was 8 million.  The tower in question is located north-east of Eli's Carpenter Shoppe, and is owned by Lynyrd Skynyrd.  The buyer is expected to be as free as a bird in his/her new home!

Donation Made to the PaxLair Treasury

Recurring Events Post to be Locked Atop the Skyboard

Mayor Minsk asked the PaxLair Skyboard moderator, Winmere, if she would be able to lock a post detailing recurring weekly events across the shard.  The post helps identify open events that are scheduled on a regular basis, and inform others of open time-slots for their own events.  The post in question is here, and should be locked at the top for easy viewing, sometime soon.

PaxLair Meeting on April 5th to Start at 8PM EST Once Again

Because of another great Fellowship of Virtue event relating to easter, the PaxLair Weekly Meeting on April 5th, will start at 8:00 PM EST instead of nine.

JEG of Humility Returns to PaxLair

After almost one year's absence, JEG, mayor of Humility and leader of The Hemp Clan [THC], returned to Paxlair and shook hands with Mayor Minsk.

JEG Announces a GRAND-SCALE Event to Take Place in Humility Next Sunday

Lord JEG announced that Humility, and the Bloody Keg Tavern are hosting a massive event in the village of Humility, next Sunday, April 4th at 10:00 PM Eastern.  The first event is to be a champagne toast, with over 50 rare champagne glasses being given to the crowd; while the second event remains a mystery but requires a large amount of participation.  Two million gold will also be given out in prizes.  Humility is located near the Humility Shrine, on Fire Island Felucca.  Caution and insurance-use/only necessary items, is advised for this event.  A rune to the Bloody Keg will be locked down in the Order Tower in Paxlair, for all to use!

DBx Events this Week

After an artifact-obtaining successful Doom hunt last week, the Drunken Bull Irregulars have invited us to attend their Doom hunt once again.  The party will leave from the Drunken Bull Roadhouse at precisely 9 PM, by the eastern sky, sharp.  Those interested are asked to show up at 8:45 to help plan strategy, and get the party all set up.  The Drunken Bull Roadhouse also hosts a tavern night each week, on Fridays at 8 PM EST.  Everyone is invited to both events!

PaxLair Attends the Red Wolf Cafe's Chesapeake Triathlon

Once the meeting wrapped up, everyone made their way to Nidaros to spectate, and participate in the Chesapeake Triathlon!  The race pitted competitors of all walks, in three no-so-walking races: running, horseback riding and sailing.

The triathlon kicked off from Skara Brae at nine, as racers ran at high speeds along the road back to the Red Wolf Cafe, where they picked up their horses and sped off to Vesper.  It was truly an amazing sight to see race monitors at every curve, and a crowd of folks recalling to major viewing points as the Siren's Call in Silvervale, and the Vesper Docks.  Once at the docks, everyone boarded their ships and sailed fiercely to Moonglow.

Myself and Winmere participated for the PaxLair team, although we came in second-last and last places respectively!  Augh!  ReVengE took home the trophy this time, with Anton and Yanni taking the next two places.
