Mayor Don Martin opened this meeting with the appointment of CowMaster as one of his new Chancellors. In a touching ceremony, the Mayor asked CowMaster to kneel, and using his ceremonial sword, he touched it to CowMaster's shoulder saying, "I dub thee Chancellor of Wisdom." Amidst cheers and applause, Mayor Don Martin asked CowMaster to rise and take the floor.

The First Chancellor runs the meeting

CowMaster - Thank you, Mayor. First order of buisness: The Mercenaries. A person not connected to Pax has hired these mercenaries to kill murderers in Paxlair. Some people say it is exploiting, others like it. However, Paxlair welcomes all people. Does anyone wish to say anything on the subject?

Toy Soldier speaks

Toy Soldier - We can not judge others for crimes they have not yet commited. Such people may come to take refuge. If we were to continue with these Mercenaries, then it would be placing the Death penalty on any and all who come with a bad history. Like I was saying, Pax has been a kind and merciful city. If we were to employ such Mercanaries, it would be a crime not only to these people, but a tarnish on this cities grand history. Thank you.
CowMaster - Aye thank you. I would like to point out that Paxlair did not hire the mercenaries. And we are at war with JD and B*D, therefore we can harm them whenever.
Toy Soldier - My mistake, sir.

Lady Tevaundra offers help

Tevaundra - Thank you. First I would like to say I am glad to make your acquaintaince. I will start with a quesiton. Does PaxLair have an army, or defensive force?
Falcor Trist - A small one.

Tevaundra - Ok. Well, I am with the guild, The Guardians of the Realm. Perhaps some of you may have heard of us. GM is Drockarius. We are presently assembling a force, to tend to criminals of our land, and offer our services to PaxLair. If the need should arise, we can be contacted. I am well aware of the activities of J-D, BD, and DOA, I follow them and seek to know more of them, to better fight them. Anyway, that is all I have to say. Thank you.
Toy Soldier - Lady Tev, I understand that you wish to fight criminals, but I would as a member of the Council of Virues, ask if you are sure your acts are that of Justice and not just vengance?
Tevaundra - Aye. I am well aware that some have gained unjust titles. I only act against those who I witness, or have reliable wintess' of criminal acts.
Toy Soldier - Ok, that is all I wished to know. I can see you tell the truth.
Tevaundra - Thank you for your trust.

Falcor talks of retiring the old stone

Falcor Trist - So everyone knows, we are going to retire the Knights old stone. It is going to take too long to take control of (the old stone). So the new intitials, are PlK. Recruitment goes well and supplies are coming together nicely. The knights are gathering most (supplies) themselves, along with help from Winmere in potions. So any that are still intersted in helping, let me know. Any who think they have what it takes to be a knight, get with me.
Tevaundra - What are the knights? Are the knights a fighting group to defend Pax?
Falcor Trist - Yes, still small though.
Tevaundra - I have friends, relatives if you will, who might be interested.

A discussion followed, about the new stone and the new initials, for the Knights. Some inquired about what happened to the old stone. Others asked if Emmeril, the keeper of the old stone, was gone It was explained that Emmeril is on temporary leave and unable to be contacted to get the old stone transferred, so a new stone is needed. Falcor stated that there are many Knights on the old stone that have not been seen in months. He further added, "We are now 'The Knights of PaxLair'." There was a slight disruption to the meeting at this point, as Falcor and a few others went to dispatch Outcast Murderer, who was outside attacking.

Johari offers help

Vegeta - The Town of Eternal bay. Anyone know of any people from there? I hear they are getting more active now. I have been told that they would Like Paxlair to have an Embassy there, an Emissary. I will talk more to the people there and get back with more information.. So I will tell ye all later on. That is all I wanted to say, just wanted to see if anyone from there, was here toinght.
Johari - Nay, but perhaps you and I can travel there after the meeting.
Vegeta - That will work.

There was a short discussion on the following night's hunt and if Winmere would lead it. For those who didn't know what the hunts were about, Vegeta explained, "Well, we just get a group together and go find some fun. If you are attending, meet around the saloon, in that area. Time is 9, right?" The time was confirmed and Vegeta added, "Bring whatever you want. I'm sure we can take on most Dungeons. If she (Winmere) is not here, Im sure others will be here, like me. Any tamers here, if ye bring a pet and it dies I can tame ye another as well. Tis a Night of Enjoyment."

 

Chancellor Ceremony for CowMaster

Mayor Don Martin took the floor and praised Snowdrop for her insightful posts in these difficult times. Snowdrop smiled, gracefully accepting such high praise. The Mayor thanked everyone who attended and ended the meeting, asking that everyone come to witness the promotion of CowMaster to "Chancellor of Wisdom" upon the PaxLair stone.
