Subject: A final farewell I suppose

Well, my month is almost up, I'm glad I could spend it with everyone. I especially enjoyed the joust, thanks to everyone who came.

PaxLair has been an excellent experience, a place filled with the best of people, where friendship is easy to obtain, and anything is possible. It was my pleasure to be given the honor to roleplay a knight amongst the characters of this city. Amongst the button pushing and random game mechanics, human imagination and creativity turned this PaxLair into a place that was not just a chat room where people can come and see who fights better or has a better connection. These things made PaxLair a living realm, a world outside our own. I am proud to have been a part of it.

Concerning knights, it is my hope the order will live and thrive till the end of this game. This knighthood has its roots in some of the best people I have met in this game, and they are worthy of not. Sir Kyle the Fierce, the first Knight Superior I served under. His heart sought out battle, yet always sought to give the city peace. Sir ZANTHOR the Good, perhaps one of the greatest knights I have ever known. He was soft spoken, but a noble man and honorable lord. Sir Tassadar the Bold, knighted along side me many a year ago. He fought many battles with the knights, never folding in the face of fury. Sir Falcor the Brave, Knight Superior after myself. He was a couragous man, and always sought new ways to serve the knights. In a selfless attempt to defend his fellow knights, he was taken by evil. Our knighthood would not fail him though, and the evil which controlled him was dispatched. Sir Safious the Strong, whose fighting prowess was only matched by his friendship. The times were few when even I could best this genius of combat. Sir Monk the Watchful, a knight who has served PaxLair in one form or another since her birth. For many a year, this brave man served as the Scout of PaxLair, a job require valor unmatched. Be wary of his words, and let his wisdom guide you. Sir Jason the Ranger, a man of the forest with a strange past and a powerful family. His unique relations with the lady Snowdrop led to many an interesting adventure. Sir Zarp the Trustworthy, a knight who was always their for his bretheren, and always watched out for the good of the chivalry.

This is just the tip of the iceberg, and I know there are noteworthy knights I am probably leaving out. Thank you all for your devotion to PaxLair, and to the code of knighthood that makes this guild distinct from any other guild in Ultima. I know not what to call myself amonst these great names, other than proud to have served amid them.

To the peoples of PaxLair who haved touched me, my greatest thanks. Old Man Winfield, I lived through many many mayors, but you will always be the Lord of PaxLair in this knight's eyes. My sword is forever at your service. You brought a new level of realism to Ultima through your focus on roleplaying and encouragement of people to develop a character, and exceed the boundries of a "game". You touched many people, and made this a unique and great experience. Kyleria Dawn, thank you for bringing me into the world of PaxLair, and helping to turn Emmeril into the hero that I see him as now. Your kindness is never ending and you role integral to Emmeril's being. Mayor Minsk, thank you for the kind years of friendship you have given me, and for the wonderful things you do for this city. Best of luck in the new year. Luthien Elflord, thank you for the incredible stories your elves have weaved and the oportunities for roleplay that you have provided for all the peoples of this shard. Winmere, you have always been a part of PaxLair, and I don't believe anyone intimately familliar with the city can think of it without thinking of you, knuddles. To all those who are no longer here, but have contributed so greatly, my eternal gratitude.

That is about all I have to say, thank you all. Sorry this was so long. I have some more vet rewards I would like to donate to the city. Hopefully I can meet up with someone to do that. Take care PaxLair.
