Knight Thanos Challenges Garzaia for Knight Max

FEBRUARY 4, PAXLAIR, CHESAPEAKE - In a meeting tonight in PaxLair, PaxLair Knight Thanos announced he would challenge the Wraith Garzaia as an attempt to retrieve Knight Max's body and soul. Knight Max, a well honored Knight of PaxLair, was taken by the Wraiths several moons ago. With this announcement, the Mayor of PaxLair and Fignut the Elder of PaxLair prepared Knight Thanos' spirit and body for the upcoming challenge. The challenge is to take place towards the end of the coming week; exact place is unknown but may be in PaxLair.

Knight Thanos, a Knight of extreme virtue and goodness, spent time at the Shrine Room in the Chaos Tower of PaxLair. There, Fignut the Elder preached the virtues to him, while the Mayor and wizzie looked on.

Fignut the Elder: [Cleric, PxI] We are here this evening...for a cause; a cause to save the souls of friends namely our beloved Knight...Max

Fignut the Elder: We all know why....why we seek guidance for him - evil has overcome his own. Let the virtues guide us to good. Let the virtues guide us to right a wrong. Let the virtues triumph. We have them on our side embodied in you Knight Thanos Justice...tis what your life stands. Valor....tis what Knight Thanos' life proves. Compassion....tis what we all have for our lost friends. Honesty....the trait we all share deep down....yet cherish as an individual. Honesty for our loved ones..and friends. Humility....Thanos is the embodiement of this virtue for Knight Thanos...is willing to give his life for another - truely a humbling experience. We are here...for Sprituality of course....the guiding virtue. Sacrifice....our good Knight Thanos....the one. Honor.....The Knights of PaxLair as a whole example of this virtue.
Fignut the Elder: *places hands on Thanos' head* Fignut the Elder: Lad....ye are brave indeed. Ye have a great fight ahead, both physically and mentally. You, Knight Thanos, are the very embodiment of our virtues, the one who must now hold true to them no matter what the costs my son. Meditate.... reflect... one of your own comrades has fallen....reflect hard.... reflect deep.... - Max.
Fignut the Elder: *blesses Knight Thanos....*
Thanos: *closes eyes*
Fignut the Elder: I honor your valor. I honor your compassion. I honor your humility. I honor your sacrifice. I honor you...good Thanos...I honor you. Godspeed Thanos and good luck.
Thanos: I shall do all i can to bring Max back. I shall not fail
Fignut the Elder: Indeed I know you will succeed. The virtues are on your side. *smiles warmly*
Fignut the Elder: The ritual of Virtues has ended... thank ye all for coming and supporting our great and good Knight

The small group then proceeded to the Spring of Courage in front of the Order Tower. There, Mayor Winfield dipped his Staff of Seer Daemeon into the Spring and touched Knight Thanos' shoulder.

Winfield: The staff of Seer Daemeon and the Spring of Courage combined. The combination is a power that repels much that perils a person's spirit. Knight Thanos, this Spring of Courage and my staff combined Will give you the strength you need to not only meet your challenge, but to ward off any attempts that might be made to take your soul. The Courage and power here are great. Not often is this power used.
Winfield: *touches the staff to the waters* *touches the staff to Knight Thanos' shoulder*
Winfield: Drink of the waters, Thanos. The waters here greet you.
Thanos: *drinks the water*
Winfield: Embued in you is the Courage and Hope of Seer Daemeon. May it aid you in your challenge. It will give you clear thought in your challenge that will come soon to you. Dragonspeed Knight Thanos on your quest.
