Short and Sweet - that's how Mayor Minsk announced that this week's town meeting would be, and she kept her word!  In fact, as rare as they come, the meeting only lasted around a half hour and touched on a good half dozen or so topics.  In attendance this week were Winmere, Koranos, Earl, Eric, Zog, Grimlar Mithrax, Cross Macleod, Mayor Minsk, Monk and myself, Neo Of Lothlore.  An ale happened to pass by outside too, but we decided not to drink it!

Heartkin/Silvervale Team Forming

The Silvervale bagball team is looking for a coach and captain, after finding a number of players in this thread here, found on the Silvervale Boards.  Silvervale is also in a bit of a political crisis, as they are looking for a mayor; this is expected to be one of the reasons for the slow planning of the new game.  A time and date for the upcoming game should be planned soon, and announced on the skyboards!

Nets Tossed, and Books Written at Last Week's Adventure Night

Last Thursday, the PaxLair Adventure group made their way to the Buc's Den docks, cast huge nets into the water, and fought hundreds of krakens!  Thanks to Earl for providing the nets!  The group also met a wandering scribe who needed help to make ink to finish a book he was writing.  Once the group helped him finish the book, we learned that he had ran into an odd event in the lost lands, that he described as "Strange Shifting".  The book can be found in the PaxLair Library.  More details of the net toss and quest can be found here:

Adventure Group to Meet Zog's Relatives this Thursday Night

Heh.  The PaxLair Adventure Group will journey to the bottom of Deceit this Thursday night, to meet some of Zog's undead brethren.  The hunt will leave from the PaxLair Paladin Tower at 9:10 PM by the Eastern Stars.  As always, the hunt is open to everyone to enjoy!

Mythndale Poetry Contest Coming Sometime Soon

Mayor Minsk informed us that she will be talking to Mayor Eve and Luthien of Mythndale about the upcoming poetry contest, to be held at the Mythndale Embassy in PaxLair.

Moonglow Spring Festival Coming April 3rd

The Moonglow Spring Festival is coming together nicely, and has a reported six million gold, in prizes to be given away!!  The Festival is being run by Lady Annwvyn Foxfyre of the CBFA, and should be announced publically in the next couple of weeks.  PaxLair may be getting together a crew to do the regatta that is planned for the festival.

PaxLair Town Meeting Scheduled for 8:00 PM EST Next Monday, March 29th to Attend the Chesapeake Triathlon

The Weekly PaxLair Meeting for Monday March the 29th has been moved to 8:00 PM EST, so that PaxLair can attend the Chesapeake Triathlon put on by the Fellowship of Virtue.  The last triathlon reportedly made its way from Nidaros to Silvervale and was a lot of fun.  So get your headbands, short pants and plenty of water, and come run for fun at the Red Wolfe Cafe!

Christmas Decorations to Get Taken Down

The City-owned buildings in PaxLair will have their trees and decorations taken down sometime soon.  Word has it orcmaz never ends!

Townhall Ready to Be Built

Winmere announced that the old SCP had a few ownership issues that needed to get sorted out before the new townhall could be built.  The issues should be resolved in a day or two, and construction will begin.  Mayor Minsk plans to have a party to celebrate the opening of the hall.

After a short half-hour, the meeting wrapped up and everyone left to get some rest!  Thanks to all who attended!
